I never denied this :D
I´m only saying that if the only explanation is that they can use the power but they do not posses the power then it is not a valid answer.
A special power printed in a slot that says that "Juan Charlanga can use pulse wave" allows Juan Charlanga to be assigned nova blast even if he does not posses pulse wave.
Is is not a matter of posses/use, that is what I tried to be a little more clear about.

As far as feats are concerned, the Gizmo's SP is very similar to "Attack Drain" : it doesn't matter that the character can use that yellow power, if he doesn't possess it and is not able to use it "on its own" - and, clearly, gaining it through this SP doesn't fit the definition of "on its own" (like I said : check what happens for Attack Drain) - on a particular clic, he cannot use the feat.
In order to use a feat, the prereq must be showing on the dial ; having the ability to use said power via a trait or a SP is enough to make said SP or trait into a prereq, as long as the character actually possess it by himself. This last condition is not fulfilled by powers gained via Gizmo's SP (except maybe for Gizmo himself), so it cannot work.

but yet nico can with her SP?
granted on him it would be a one time use feat.
Yes, absolutly : Nico SP allows her to use ANY power, and she uses it via a SP. The fact that this use is conditional (one at a time, never the same twice in a row) only limit how and when she can use said power, but doesn't prevent it from being a prereq. She can, of course, only use a particular feat when she actually use the power needed as prereq
Since we are on the topic of feats and SP's:
If I Counter a power, can the person still use the feat even though the power is no longer useable?
I am sure the answer is easy to find through some searching, I just figured I may get a quicker answer this way
No rest until the great works of Anthony Edward Stark are in clix forms
Soon...his works will be realized... in 2013 the Hall of Armor in clix!

If the power gets turned off by outwit then I believe the feat is also shut off(Somebody correct me if I am wrong and please edit using the correct terminology to explain this)
Also for other discussions I read throughout the thread:
Quoted from Harpua on page 1 of this thread
Nope.
"Gizmo's SP states that the figures CAN USE the power.
The rulebook states that a power that you can use from an SP can meet the prereq IF the figure can use the power on his own. While he can use the power on his own, he can't use it on his own on that click."
In regular language, you say that there's nothing special abuot the "during your turn" phrase. As with most things in the game, it has its own meaning within the game. That meaning, when used in a power, has been defined to mean "at any time during your turn."
That's inconsistent usage. From the Fantastic Four rulebook:
Giving actions to characters. During your turn, you give actions from your action total to your characters.
I'm not complaining about regular language versus game-specific language; that's fair enough (although it sure would be nice to have "during your turn" defined in the rulebook somewhere - it's not in the Glossary).
But I do have a problem with a specific phrase being given two meanings depending on a context that is never defined in the rulebook. If "during your turn" is defined to mean "at any time during your turn", then I could read the above section as meaning "At any time during your turn (including the beginning of turn phase), you give actions from your action total to your characters."

Captain...
I NEVER said that anyone besides Gizmo can use Nova Blast.
I´m complaining in the explanation that is being given.
And IMO you too fall in the same mistake.
To USE a feat, yes the prerequisite must be showing in the combat dial slot, but the prerequisite (in this case a power like pulse wave) is not that the figure POSSES pulse wave, it is that the fig POSSES a power that let it USE pulse wave and that that power is showing in the combat dial slot.
If this was not like this then no special power that let the fig USE pulse wave could fullfill the requirements, only the special powers that grant POSSESION of pulse wave would, and we know this is not the case.
So the correct answer about the friendly adjacent figures to Gizmo that want to use Nova Blast (of course if they dont have pulse wave at the time) is that even when they can USE the power by their own (because Gizmo granted that posibility for the rest of the turn) they do not have the prerequisite PRINTED anywhere in the visible slot of the combat dial (and by printed we can accept also an special power that grants USE of the prerequisite).
This is what I was trying to explain to avoid further confussion for new players. :D
I hope my explanation is better now to explain my point.
