I have been on a quest to play every figure in HoT, and next up are Moonstone, Songbird & Venom. So I came up with:

I went 3-0 with the team below a few weeks back. 500 points, but you could tweak it for 400.

If I were you I'd drop the 2 starstruck admirers for Entangle on venom. You get entangle roll, shape change, and then super senses. Crazy.

Yeah, I can't argue that Entangle would be a great addition, but that combo has been played a lot around here, so I was looking for something a bit more offbeat. Also, I want to try out Starstruck Admirer.

How did Ringmaster do for you? I thought about working him in.

The great thing about the team was it looked like a complete and utter joke. People saw Ringmaster, Howard the duck, and Johnny Sorrow and were like "Wow Jar has lost it" and I ended up beating a spy theme team with skrullvell and company, and also beat the new Ultron/Nova blast combo with a bunch of M11's and V Red tornado.

Ringmaster honestly didn't do much. I had Sorrow carry him around most often. I would position him to be "out of range" of people and surprise them with his +2 bonus on an incap or mind control. But it didn't happen much really.

I'd use him just because it's so damn funny.

I don't have the points in a 400, but you did give me an idea for a 500--Ringmaster with Compel. The 400 I think I will modify to make a tad more competive:
