Ok maybe it's just me but I have been a member of this community for awhile now. Made a few buys and a few posts on the site. I currently have a few clix I would like to get rid of and due to the rule of having a itrader rating of 25 I won't be able to. Is it just me or does it feel like if you have something to sell and you are below a lvl 25 then it seems HCrealms is pushing us to evilbay? I mean I wouldn't say you can't sell something with a trader rating below 25 but expect to have to send first. Or something along those lines. That's just my opinion. I guess until that gets changed it's off to evilbay I go.
First off this is in the wrong section, this needs to be in trading discussions section. Secondly, You can always ASK a Mod for permission to sell. The Mods are doing what they can to deter scammers. Which I think is great. Too many people have been scammed by sellers and traders alike. If you wish to take your clix to ebay that is your prerogative. Don't expect them to drop the "you must have 25+ to sell" any time soon.
Well I posted in the Sale forum because I'm not tryin to trade. Secondly, I understand about scammers but that is a risk even if you have a high trader rating. Theres always a chance of getting scammed on the internet. As far as dropping the 25 to sell I just think it's ridiculous.
Now, with all of those out of the way I didn't think about asking for permission to sell on here because I figure with the sound of the sticky post in the sell forum they are firm on what they say and would want me to use a proxy. Which I would feel better watching it get mailed at the post office to the guy.
Asking for permission is almost automatic as long as you go by the rules the Mod set for you. It will most likely be you will send first if the person has higher rating than you.
2) You need an itrade rating of 25 to sell.
If you have a lower rating and want to sell contact a moderator.
You can always make a list of what you have for sales with prices and send them to people who post buy threads to see if any of them are interested. Or peruse the trade threads and send folks "solicitation PMs offering to sell" their wants that you may have. Is that against the rules?

Don't know if that's technically against the rules, but you'll be sending first before you receive any paypal compensation or money order. The idea does sound like you're trying to circumvent certain forum rules, so I'm guessing the mods will frown on it and stop you anyway.
The whole point is to deter scammers because getting blackballed on realms is not nearly as damaging to a scammer as getting blackballed on ebay. Also, ebay has a lot more recourse on hunting down scammers. We just don't have the resources, time, energy, or legal rights to hunt people down and make them rectify a situation. Ebay does.

So what you're telling him to do is circumvent the rules of selling that have been set up!
You could always seek the help of a third party on here that trust.
Ask them if they would be willing to sell stuff for you, send them your stuff, let them sell it and then collect the money. It would give the people buying the stuff some sanity knowing they are buying from someone that has feedback, and you get to sell you stuff... of course you would probably have to throw them a few figs, or some of the money off of the top.
