I usually don't follow villains. Beat them up and get to the next one. But I have followed Viper where I find her for years. For the life of me I can't remember ever seeing her origin, and I no longer seem to own any Marvel Universe issues (don't know how that happened). The only flashback I remember was from MTU 84 or 85, but that only explained about her relationship with Silver Samurai (who should have Hydra on at least one level for game fun, but doesn't). Does anybody know?

No one knows about Lady Viper alias Madame Hydra huh? Or maybe her origin has never been given? I might have to visit the quarter bins and get myself a copy of Marvel Universe.

This isn't super helpful, but I vaguely remember some bits of information on her.

She is either Red Skull, or Baron von Struckers daughter, I believe. She once married Wolverine for political reasons to get into the Asian/Manirpool underworld. She has also dated Captain America in an issue back in the 70s, I think. Other members of Hydra were not happy. She obviously hold a high rank in Hydra, I vaguely remember even second-in-command.

Thanks. I think all of Strucker's children are accounted for, but maybe the Nick Fury movie was correct. It would be really interesting if she is related to Red Skull. I know she currently rules Madripor. To make matters more confusing, I don't think she was the original Madame Hydra, but the two of them do look identical so it gets confusing. Keep the help coming please.
