Yeah I was really sweating it after he neutered my 3 main attackers in the first 3 turns. I didn't think Uni's dice would've went so far south.

Since my season is now over, I will post my pre-game internal dialog as I was trying to figure out some outside chance to win:
now, facing Justice League (Shazam, Gee, Lightning Lad, Echo, Montgomery Kelly w/ CPlan, Sandman, Shield Medic). An awesome team that wrecked me. in previous game. 2 primary attackers (HSS & RS) with TK, 2 secondary, pc, cplan, support. Pretty much an ideal team! NO OW (unless Shaz later)
In that game, I had

Well, Zoom is much better now w/ AP, though! But...switch to Johnny & Calculator instead of BA? (well, BA would have been a flyer that seems to be utterly necessary, at least pre-game. *sigh* my feeling it it makes no difference).
In the game, he just TK'ed out Shazam for the initial attack on Deathstroke (actually went for Alchemy but he landed SC. Mistake won't again).
I guess Deathstroke's outwit makes him a decent target but Calc's OW will make that less likely. Hmmm...really need stealth for LLad, and of course the ability to get through Shazam's imperv.
(gm 3 team is the frontrunner right now, 3 stealthers vs LLad is good. But that's why he did the Shaz attack in gm6. first & followed up w/ LLad).
He may try a repeat, esp. if he has the chance for a follow-up attack with LLad w/ EE.
I gots NO FLYERS so I'm mobility-challenged!, but this is what I'm doing. Friggin on the outdoor building map. He's gonna destroy me. May as well just forfeit. Why bother? Or just suicide JQ or Zoom or something? Seems pretty pointless anyway. He can TK/RS LLad out on the SECOND TURN and attack me wherever I am. I'm sure he'll take a position on the buildings that I can't even friggin get up on. Maybe try bottom right building?
-- I'm leaning to just going strait at him since Shazzy can't attack until turn 3 and on turn 1 or 2, CPlan won't be built up? Pretty much dare LLad to attack me? He'll probably hang back in order to Shaz-up and build up CPLan. Best I can do is move up quite a bit and see if he goes for it. Certainly I'll be pushing on Turn 2 if there's even a chance I can get an advantage.
(if he attacks, Echo, too). I may be able to get in range to OW TK or charge or RS or something? He'll go first, and probably take up a position on a building (although only LLad can fly to start, so maybe he won't). Avoid bunching up cuz of EE. In other words, as long as Alchemy can see Zoom & Quick, my initial positioning probably don't matter too much.

This team is action-constrained AND mobility-constrained for sure. How move up to start?
I think line up w/ Stealth in front...Calc mmind to hive. I'm sure he'll go after Deathstroke again. Any way to have PC ready for that? I think only if have HSS'ers away from the pack, but then he may just have LLad go for them, so that doesn't seem viable.
For him, attacking Hive is pointless, Alchemy's got that SC (and even if hit, I've got 2 OW'ers, Zoom & Johnny's PC. If plex up Zoom, outwit Defense, can do 6 to Shaz & 2 more from, say, Hive, DS, JQ, so he will *not* do that.
I think he'll go for DS *or* one of my big guns like Zoom or JQ, both of which are risky. He may very well let me extend first (I would....)
If I can only give him a single initial attack, that may be OK, unless he goes for it and tags Zoom for 6.
So, assuming it's unlikely I can take up a position on a building on the first turn or 2, I'm going to just bum-rush. That means 1. having him, Zoom, JQ within 8 of the building's he can go on, 2. protecting Alchemy as much as possible, so have him on a LIGHT object for the +1 d (no heavys). AND have calculator perplex up his defense, too. Zoom's 17 D/senses and reroll and JQ's 18+reroll will make them unlikely targets.

How set up? If he lets me get first hit, what do *I* do? If I get to use my 3 stealthers will depend on the map & object placement. BUT I don't - not on this crapola map!
1. Johnny moves up, in position to attack next turn, to a place where he can use his PC (token Hive)
free) Calculator perplex (if Zoom's dmg, right? Take out LLad? But then Shazam has big shot) (Zoom's AV - do the 1 AP on Shaz if can also hit Gee & then move far enough away from Shaz's charge. Unlikely. Can *not* let Zoom get attacked by Shaz if at all possible.)
2. Alc TK Zoom
3. Zoom vs Shazam I guess. Or plex up dmg & go for LLad. End on hindering(Swingline) if possible. (Ideal: tag Shazzy for 1, LLad for 3, OW TK.)
4. Calc to Stealth & OW Shaz's HSS. JUST be far enough away from Echo's Charge & TK'ing Shazam (is this possible? Hmmmm. probably not)
GOOD: 1 to Shaz, 2 or 3 to Gee, OW RS? Then just have to be far enuf away from Echo's charge.
GOOD: 2/3 to LLad, 2/3 to Gee, OW HSS? Be away from Echo's charge
Another option is a Barrier, but LLad can break it and Shaz can be TK'ed up. Unless can get a 2-thick one somehow. Doubtful. BFC & Map are big! Outdoor map/elevated map kills me!
ok - another/another option. Use my double-outwit....somehow. It's unlikely he'll give me LoF to 2 things (like TK and HSS/RS). but of course that would be ideal.

I was debating about using this team, a Feated-up Zoom, take away Johnny, Deathstroke from R to E, and add 2 Hives, but I'm just terrified of Zoom getting popped and not having the power to retailiate. Not that Johnny is all that, either, but oh well - I'll never know!

Wow, that's a lot of thought. I think you picked a really good team to play against mine. Double outwit, perplex, TK, and 2 PC'ers with Zoom. Definitely a good team. You really should've had this one. The most game changing roll was the Shape change for Billy. If you hit him, he would've been on the invuln click, but then you would've 2nd flurry to give him another click to get him on the Regen clicks and then finish him off with Johnny. And that would've been game. But you did have a really good team. I didn't think you'd send Zoom out so quickly but it was a good move that I wasn't expecting and took out my TK'er and neutered Lightning Lad and then followed up and neutered Billy. Definitely good moves. It was just the dice gods.
