Some people on HCRealms suggested house-ruling the Finger of Foom 3D to be the same as the generator and the dumpster.
I took it a step further and added a point value and an added effect Att-1/Def+1 if the object is occupied by the attacker or defender during a close combat attack.

The Captain charges in a slams someone with the ripped off finger. Then he places it in his own square to gain the Def +1 bonus OR perhaps he drops it on the opposing character to give it a -1 Attack penalty. I chose Close Combat because this is a huge gross finger covered in gloppy Foom blood. It wouldn't effect ranged attacks any differently, but someone wanting to make a close combat attack against an enemy in that square would likely be more reluctant to actually WANT to make that hit.

My original inkling was to grant the ability to use Perplex outright, but I like the Hindering Terrain bonus much, much more.

I'm also working on house-ruling the 3D Foom Finger as a Bystander token with Invuln, and a special Power Action Perplex a-la Amadeus Cho, except that it could ONLY be granted Power Actions. (No move or attacks) Also some exceptions with breakaway and tying up opposing characters.

I wanted to print a few of these up for the folks at our venue, but wanted to make sure the wording was fine.
Any suggestions on improving it for the desired effect would be greatly appreciated.

I finally finished this. Starting to get the hang of PSE with some help.
