I'LL SHOW YOU YOUNG PUNKS HOW IT'S DONE: The Bat-Man modifies his attack value by +1 when he's attacking a character whose current click number is lower than The Bat-Man's current click number.
Now, my interpretation and ruling at our tournament was that lower click number = had taken more damage than batman. example, a piece that was on click 3 has a lower click number than batman on click one. Batman would get to use the power. Now, he argued that since 1 is a lower number than 3, then batman would not get to use the power. This just seemed counter-intuitive to me. I ruled he could use it, but wanted to make sure i did not mess this one up.

thanks
It's pretty straightforward. Read the little red number indicating which click the character is on. If the number is lower than The Bat-Man's number, he gets a +1.
e.g. The Bat-Man, having been hit once is on click number 3, and is attacking minty-fresh Aquaman, on click number 1. The Bat-Man gets a +1 to his attack, because 1 is less than 3.
:edit: ergo, yes, I am afraid you made the wrong call.
Well, I AM pretty awesome.
An understanding of the law of large numbers leads to a realization that what appear to be fantastic improbabilities are not remarkable at all but, merely to be expected.
What if you are using an AE, or Black Adam? Superman? Super Girl?
If you start at click "4" because you are using 150 points instead of 300 points, is that considered click 4. Or is that considered click 1?
It's the starting click, but it's still click 4. Meaning that they cannot be healed past that point, but for Batmans power to work, he'd have to be on click 5 or later.

If Black Adam got hit and landed on #4 then Bats gets +1.
You've got it backwards. If Black Adam is on click 4, Batman has to be on click 5 or worse. Lower click refers to closer to the beginning of the dial, not closer to the end.
