I am interested in seeing all these mechanics in play. They provide for a ton of new scenarios and add some interesting new elements such as hordes. I will definitely be keeping an eye on all this goodness. Can't wait to see more of the figures revealed too.

I fail to see the justification on some of those powers. Support? When did Pippin ever heal anyone? And I can notice when people are alive too, it doesn't give me a special power. In addition, if they decided to go with late book/movie ideas for powers, they should use late designs for the sculpts (Hobbits in the armor of their respective lords, etc.) I'm just not a fan of "this character did this once so it's his power now" builds.

Support doesn't necessarily have to mean the ability to heal. It could simply be a rallying cry that causes others to muster their strength, or words of encouragement.

I agree with you on the sculpts though. Much rather have Merry and Pippin in armour.

I would pay upwards of $35 for a Beren and Luthien duo.
