Likely a very simple question, and one that is probably either a "no" for some reason I'm missing or a "yes" and a standard strategy for many players -- simply none of the folks I've played against:
I know that a character with Stealth (or the Batman TA) standing on an Object (which is considered hindering terrain) is essentially invisible, so unless someone has the Superman TA the stealthed figure is unassailable at Range from a directly targeted attack because the shooter can't see him. However, the shooter should still be able to see the object, and if the shooter can deliver a Damage of 3 or above he can destroy an object just as surely as he can punch a hole in a wall. So... can an Exp Dr. Doom (for sake of handy example) blast the object the Black Panther is standing on, not damaging the Panther but leaving him exposed?
Really? Well, when an object is destroyed in the game - used in an attack, whether or not the attack is successful - does that mean it's supposed to be replaced by a debris marker? I've never seen anyone do that.
Thanks for the reply, sniksidr, but I'm hoping to hear from at least one other judge on this. I've seen judges disagree on several items on these boards from time to time, though a concensus usually arises.
Okay! It makes no sense whatsoever - seriously, If Doc Ock swings a dumpster at Spidey and connects for damage, the dumpster is blown to teeeeeeeny tiny bits, but if Dr. Doom blows it up it stays all pretty much in the same location? - but if it's an official ruling then it's an official ruling.
Yep. There it was, laid out in the basic rules. I obviously should have checked there first. It still makes no sense whatsoever, but... It was worth checking into.

I'll go try to track it down, then.
Actually the 3-d dumpster cannot be destroyed
Boy 1:"I DIDN'T GO TO VIETNAM, SO YOU CAN WALK AROUND WITH YOUR LONG HIPPIE HAIR AND NEVER GET A JOB!"
Boy 2: "But you're only 20 y/o?"
Boy 1: "Exactly, I DIDN'T go to Vietnam, so you can walk around with your long hippie hair and never get a job!"

To be perfectly accurate, that's not quite it. The 3-D dumpster is not destroyed when used in an attack, whether or not the attack is successful. However, it still can be destroyed if a figure deals 3 damage to it in a single attack, leaving a hindering rubble token as normal.
