can they be on the same team. I mean its not like spidy were all of the spiders are called spiderman and green gob is not a unique hob gob. They r to different people. so say you know all the hc rules but u never read a comic in your life. u dont know who hob gob spidy or green gob are one could olny think hobby and green gob are AE's. common sense says "yea u can use em toughether cause they were never foes, but the rules say that 2 different people (With different names) that have the same colored base are AEs. so what do you think.:cross-eye

I think what you asked is "can Hobgoblin and Green Goblin be on the same team because they have the same colored base. Well, yes they can because if you look closel, the bases are NOT the same color. GG's base (as well as Spidey from XPlosion) are slightly darker. This is intentional.

(Exact) same colored base with different name DOES make two characters enemies...which is why you can't have Aquaman and Arthur Currey on the same team :-p

Also, the Spiderman from IC is not AE of Green Goblin from XP, and Spiderman from XP is not AE of Hobgoblin.....

So you could have IC Spidey teamed up with GG against XP Spidey and Hobby.....

Just a thought, does anyone else find it kind of lame that Arthur Curry is Aquaman's AE? Would it have been that hard for Wizkids to say that LE's arent the AE of the REV?

one thing i do know is that green golin and hobgoblin have been enemies. hobgoblin stole his technoligy and that is how he becasme hobgoblin if i remember right

the le arch enemy thing comes up with the ninjas in xlplosion, if u have one le ninja u can't have the other or any of the rev's, they all have different names

The ninja thing may be true for tourneys and such, but the wonderful thing about friendly play is that you can ignore such BS as that. I dont care what color the bases are, I'm going to have a spidey and venom team and play it, because they team up in the comics and they'll team up in my games.

At the store I play at, you ignore archenemy bases for team construction, but you still get the bonus for KO'ing an AE :-)
