I'm sorry, maybe I misread/misunderstood. I thought the question was if you could Running Shot, end adjacent to an enemy, then use Pulsewave. If you're already adjacent to an enemy, you would declare the Running Shot, roll for Break Away, then move, then Pulsewave.
Vulture: I'll drop you from the sky and watch you drop like a rag doll! Spider-Man: And this'll be when? After Ock rips me limb from limb? Or after Venom eats my brains? Oh, I almost forgot; he also has dibs on my spleen...
No, I mean I use running shot and move next to you and then use pulse wave. running shot is a ranged action! I can't be next to you then attack.(Any attack)while useing running shot.I must be 1 square away.
Pulse Wave specifically says it can be used in adjacency.
PULSE WAVE: Give this character a ranged combat action; halve its range value until the action has been resolved. Draw lines of fire to all characters within range in every direction; these lines of fire are only blocked by walls, blocking and elevated terrain. All game effects possessed or used by other characters with a line of fire drawn to them are ignored until the action has been resolved. At least one opposing character must have a line of fire drawn to it to activate this power. If ignoring a game effect would cause a character with a line of fire drawn to it to no longer have a line of fire drawn to it, then it is not ignored. If lines of fire can be drawn to two or more characters, this character’s damage value becomes 1 and is locked. Make a single ranged combat attack (even if this character is adjacent to an opposing character) and compare the attack total to the defense value of all other characters with a line of fire drawn to it; each character hit is dealt damage

Yes, you can. Pulse Wave gives you a Ranged Combat ACTION, not a Ranged Combat Attack (those are 2 different game terms). I suggest you post the full question on the Rules Forum, as opposed to filling the Units section with general questions.

You CAN Running Shot/Pulse Wave into adjacency, even without Sharpshooter, under the new Pulse Wave rules. Why? Because that's the bottom line, because Stone Cold Doctor Crow said so.

Thank you Dr Crow 777. I used Black Bolt the other night and tried this move and half the people said no and the other half said yes.Because knowone had any idea(judge too) I stayed 1 square away. This is why hcrealms is here to get answers for your figures and new ideas how to play them better. Thanks again Dr Crow 777
YES! The "definitive" answer is in the wording for Pulsewave; Pulse Wave specifically says it can be used in adjacency. If lines of fire can be drawn to two or more characters, this character's damage value becomes 1 and is locked. Make a single ranged combat attack (even if this character is adjacent to an opposing character) and compare the attack total to the defense value of all other characters with a line of fire drawn to it; each character hit is dealt damage.

Despite being a "Skrull," this is a very good update of the Sinister Unique. Best of all, he can be used on Illuminati and Inhumans themes. Much more playable than the SR, imho.
I have one of these for trade if any one has got a horse man of apocalypse hulk, or bombastic bag man. Pm me if interested. But anyway this Guy is better then the SR. Running shot and pulse wave is a deadly combo.
