Obviously Bruce banner is there to AE into outback hulk so that darkseid can transfer damage via mastermind... Also, any suggestions on other pieces to use for either team?

The problem with your second team is that Bruce Banner is going to be killed so quickly that you won't have time to AE him into the outback hulk before he dies (at least that has been my experience.

I think Squirrel Girl would be better for mastermind fodder (thank god for monkey joe).

I personally like playing Darkseid in 500+ games because it is easier to support him.

The only thing I don't like about your first team is no outwit.

Lex has the calculater team ability which allows him to copy the Superman's Enemies team ability giving Bizarro outwit. Lex also has enhancement on his first clix and perplex on his second clix for a full range of support powers. Bizarro is a powerhouse good on just about every clix and if he carries Lex around, he can use Lex as a stealth shield.

Steel should be used as bait or tie-up for your team. Try and pair him up against someone how has 3 or 4 damage, that way he can either push to or land on his last clix which has outwit.
