I'm playing an 800 point silver age (any figure, no cardboard) game and would like to see what kind of x-men and avengers teams people can come up with at 800 points. I have access to all the avenger and x-men pieces that will probably get suggested.

I kept flip flopping between Archangel and Emma Frost. Frost leaves you short points, but her Enhancement is very useful for Cyclops and Prof X. Iceman gives you Logan's special ability. Rogue, Wolverine for your front line, Psylocke as a secondary attacker and mobility with TK, Archangel for mobile range, Cyclops and Prof X are kind of obvious.

Of course there are many varieties of this that would work - this one happens to be modern age legal at the moment. This one is in danger of being outactioned. I prefer my 100 point Iron man, 150 point Thor, then I can flexibly add in some other characters.

I keep trying to fit a Hulk on for you ... I never really think of Dr. Strange as being an Avenger - so you could swap him out. There is a whole lot of support in there already anyways

that's a pretty good avengers team superclone.
I'm actually not allowed to use GSX Beast for my x-men because of the build stipulations. I think my opponent (who will be using the avengers team) will probably have 5 or 6 figures on his team. He rarely runs swarm type teams. Should be a fun game

this puts u a few points under 800. cy/phoenix will give the prof 17 D and provide Enhancement plus 1 to AV for using it plus leadership so u can possible use prof as many times as u want without pushing (if you get the rolls). psylocke is awsome for this price when used with a defend piece (ES/D) and gives another enhance for the prof. Storm for TK an RS. and u get choice of which 190+ piece u want for your killbox.

We played on the crash site map. It was very close with NC shape change or super senses rolls really saving my team. The Duo stayed in the starting area with professor X and Psylocke. Professor X ended up P/B for 4 with an 11 attack on most turns and that was the other big thing.

His avengers team missed a couple easy rolls, but used Dr. Strange and Captain America well by constantly attacking NC and eventually Professor X. A few rolls not going his way and not being familiar with Rogue's trait ended up costing him the match. Fun game overall
