1) "Wizard eh? I can do magic tricks too, wanna see?" Sidney grins as he turns into a giant top-hat, dropping on Wizard's head! 8 (+1 from perplex) atk. vs 15 def. Needs a 6. Roll is: (2,1) for a 3 and a total failure. Longshot tries to help out with a little PC. Second roll is: (3,4) for a 7 and a hit! Wizard takes 2 and is KO'ed! 1 SA and 1 KO for Morph, 1 AST for Longshot.

Morph's giant hat-form tries to envelop the Wizard completely, but the canny criminal ducks to the side... crashing right into Hydro-Man! The splash of water as he flies through him soaks his armour and tech from top to bottom and causes his anti-g discs to malfunction wildly, sending him flying straight *into* Morph! From somewhere deep inside the hat there's a muffled *oomph* as the grinning Sidney returns to his "normal" form, the Wizard is left unconscious on the floor "See, nothing up my sleeves!"

2) Longshot laughs at the spectacle "Lucky, aren't we?" Then he turns his attention to Taskmaster, leaping at him with an acrobatic kick. 10 atk. vs 15 def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (6,4) for a 10 and a hit (figures that Longshot would get that 10 you've been chasing...) Taskmaster pulls Hydro-Man into the way and lets him take the hit for him for 2. 1 SA to Longshot and 1 DFD for Hydro.

Miguel and Blink both clear. Longshot will PC a successful hit from either Hydro or Taskmaster, or a successful break roll by Taskmaster. Morph will take a token to PC a successful hit by Hydro that gets past Longshot and Miguel will PC a critical hit by Klaw *or* a successful attack by Taskmaster that gets past Longshot's PC

2) Miguel pounces on the prone Taskmaster like... well... a spider on its prey. Spider-Man slashes Taskmaster (using blades). 9 atk. vs 14 def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (3,3) for a 6 and a hit! Blades roll is: 5! Taskmaster takes 5, is knocked back to I8 where he hits the wall for a total of 6 damage which leaves him thoroughly KO'ed! 1 SA, 1 KO and 1 from the push for Spidey.

Picking up the crafty villain before he can recover, Miguel makes full use of his proportional strength, hurling the Taskmaster bodily across the hall and directly into the wall with punishing force. Brushing off his hands he gives Longshot a quick thumbs-up while Blink surveys the scene. "Alright guys, looks like we've done enough in this reality. Now let's get back to the Crystal Palace before Holocaust and Mr. Creed tears it apart!
