I just want to make sure I understand your ruling in context to the OP.
The temporary status of being "friendly" to my force that Nekron's SP allows has no bearing on Mistress Death's ability to make them my servant.
So I have a fig who is 200 pts that has been KO'd. Later in the game my opponent's 168 Ms. Marvel dies within the range of Nekron's SP. She returns as a friendly, performs her swan song action and is removed from play. Next turn I can use Mistress Death to resurrect Ms. Marvel b/c even though she was friendly for the swan song, ultimately she is considered opposing.

Correct?
Death's power says "when an opposing character is ko'ed". So she would only be able to use it immediately after that condition is met. If she doesn't then she can't use the power on that figure unless it is brought back by some other game effect and then ko'ed again.
Am I the only one that finds this awesome? Black Lanterns trump Death.
