So I just won the Gardener at my Gauntlet event last night, and I really dig the dial. However, I do have one question regarding him.

Would the Armor Piercing feat would apply to his special damage power? My guess is that it would, but I don't want to build a team around this tactic and then show up to my event only to find out that I'm wrong.

For reference, here is his special damage power's text, right from the Units page.

The guy next to me at work said it doesn't apply.

Armor Piercing says that damage dealt by the character cannot reduced below 1.
Unfriendly Flora deals damage.
