modok's special pulse wave, adaptoids and their enhancement question.
saw this come up in play today in a match, and wanted to hear if it was the correct call, so if i ever faced it, i'd understand.
so, given the adaptoids are immune to modok's special pulse wave, are they allowed to use their enhancement to boost up the damage on a "focused" target?
found it an interesting question.

OK Wizkids- NECA..so far so good. Just remember, don't be complacent, stay hungry..and now that Mage Knight is back, don't blow it.
PSYCHIC BOMB: MODOK can use Pulse Wave. When he does, choose a keyword that MODOK possesses. Friendly characters with the chosen keyword are not affected by this use of Pulse Wave.

I'm going to say that the enhancement wouldn't matter since there would still be multiple "targets" inside the area of effect of the Pulse Wave, even if only one opposing character.

Well at the beginning of the Pulse Wave action, you still need to draw a line to every figure within range. If two or more figures is within line of fire, the damage value is locked to 1. A figure that shares a keyword with MODOK can ignore his pulse wave, BUT they are still bound to the basic rule of Pulse Wave, where you have to draw line of fire to every figure within range. So if a friendly figure with the same keyword is within line of fire along with an opposing figure, then the damage is locked to 1, regardless of enhancement.
