So tired of seeing complaints about the Gauntlet.

A) It's easily attainable, meaning you can simply run your own golden oven mitt.

B) It makes more figures technically viable, meaning you can run figures that you really like as opposed to what is EXACTLY meta and still win.

when i play my CoT team the magus with IG makes the team a lot more competitive then without. a group that normally will just lose has more survivability just because it gives magus a better chance to stay on his first click for bonus's to raker and without rakers the team just dies haha.

I have beat teams with the IG before I bought one(just started playing again from scratch about 3 weeks ago) so it isn't that terribly bad. I had a 700 point Avengers Theme team that is built around AVM202 Hulk that shredded a XMen theme team with both WoS Nightcrawler and the GSX Phoenix that had the Gauntlet on. Now that I have got a Gauntlet I can kinda see how it makes a difference, but it isn't as bad as everyone makes it seem.

@Captain Awsome: Quit whining about the gauntlet. It's the new fad. Deal with it. Lots of players (especially ME) LOVE the gauntlet.

No offense, but you shouldn't be trying this if you can't even spell it right. People would also take you more seriously if you had a well thought-out argument, instead of your small blurb full of grammatical errors.

On-topic: the IG isn't bad at my venue. And I'm the judge. The IG has not been the deciding factor in a game at my venue (yet). And the weeks I don't judge I don't use the IG (the minority at my venue) and still win the tournament. So at least at my venue, we're not banning it.

I get what you're saying about liking it, and it being useful. But I AM tired of seeing it. I'd want to play against the Gauntlet every week no more than I'd want to play against Thor EVERY SINGLE WEEK FOR THE RESTOFMY LIFE.

Its getting extremely boring, and it clearly boosts teams, otherwise it wouldn't be getting so much use.

You are correct, however; its the new fad. I friggin' HATE fads.
