I am about to run an event using a lot of Colossal figures and, while I am ok to go on the rules for the most part, I am curious about something that was posed in a question to me.
In regards to all the immunities etc that accompany most of the Colossals, especially their team abilities - Quintessence & Power Cosmic for instance - do the abilities of Colossals cancel each other out?
For instance; if 2 Colossals have the above listed team abilities, do their abilities by-pass each others? Do their immunities also act or function in kind? Need a definitive answer on this from a source in the know, thanks.
(Again, this was posed to me in a question, and I have to admit that it took me by surprise; I have only ever played against Galactus, as far as being a player, way back in the coming of Galactus event. I have also only run Starro singularly, and Sentinels as a unified squad, both as Colossal scenario events. Never used or run any other Colossals, so this has never come up before.)

No. Any particular reason you would think they would?
After all, it isn't like Thanos can use Outwit on Silver Surfer, so just because the characters are a little larger in size doesn't mean that Power Cosmic suddenly works differently.

Keep in mind that there are a LOT more colossals than they used to be. And all that being a character with the symbol really gets you is the Great Size and Colossal Stamina abilities (found on the PAC). The specific character may have some extra traits and such on their character cards, but gone are the days of pages of special rules; if it isn't in Colossal Stamina or Great Size description, they can't do it.

Well, like I said, it was not technically my question to begin with. However, your last statement is a bit misleading, as even if what they can or cannot do is part of the Colossal Stamina or Great Size items, the figures in question still have significant traits or attributes listed on their specific character cards etc, that still have to be taken into account as well.
I mention this only to help the individuals who asked me this question to start.

Not misleading at all.
A quick search through this forum will reveal many, MANY posts where people ask if Apocalypse will destroy objects if he moves over them or if Mastermold can use Capture since they are colossals.
The answer is "No." All being a colossal does for a character is described in Colossal Stamina and Great Size. Sure, individual characters might have specific traits (I even said so in my original post), but to say that it is misleading to not mention that for a Colossal is the same as saying, "Oh, when I asked that question about Thor's Indomitable, you forgot to mention his trait that gives him Super Strength."
Yeah, like I said, I will just point these guys in your direction if they have further issues. I did not think it made a difference, but I wanted to be thorough. They can't say I did not ask, right?

You did indeed.
