Wasn't quite sure how I would search this and find exactly what I want.
A|H
F O
A = attacking character w/
F = friendly character
O = opposing character
H = hindering terrain | = Wall
This scenario came up in a game I played tonight. Can a ranged attack be made from A to O? I know when drawing LoF through diagonals you use the least restrictive terrain on either side of the intersection, but I wasn't quite sure how/if the wall came into play. If I can draw a LoF, it would be hindered since F would block LoF, correct? If I can't draw LoF, can I still make a close combat attack?
I'm leaning towards no LoF, because using "the bend" or whatever would cause the line to hit the wall. I just figured I would ask though.

Sharpshooter only allows for two things : ignoring opposing characters on LOF and allowing ranged combat attack against adjacent opposing one (without removing the LOF requirement for such attacks). In the case you describe, the opposing character cannot be ranged attacked because LOF to him are blocked : diagonal between a friendly character and a wall will blokc that LOF.
You know everyone loves to be the villain. Hugh Grant

That's all I needed to know. I know how sharpshooter works, the only reason I mentioned it was to clarify how I was able to even consider a ranged attack against an adjacent character.
A was Hulklops and it would've been nice to use running shot against O and then clobber them with an object the following turn. I wasn't thinking and blocked the doorway with Wolverage the previous turn though.
