Here is a scenario I need a little help on. A character within range of Pulse Wave has outwitted the Indomitable (or Willpower) of the character making the Pulse Wave attack. After the damage has been dealt the attached character still possess Outwit.
If this is a push for the attacker, would they take pushing damage?
Pulse Wave: "...All game effects possessed or used by other characters with a line of fire drawn to them are ignored until the action has been resolved."
Does the Pulse Wave action resolve and then tokens are placed, thus causing a push damage, or do the tokens get placed resolving the action and no push damage is applied?
I am torn and had the guys roll off until I could find out. Thanks for the help.
The Outwit would be ignored until the action resolves, yes.
However, that doesn't mean your character can use Indomitable. The effects of Outwit only end at the beginning of the next turn or when the power is lost... ignoring Outwit is neither one of those things.
