SM001 + BM001.. Two highly effective figures that, once Superman finally takes enough damage will run back, merge into World's Finest, split and cause all kinds of 1st click havoc all over again.
I think that the attack power that increases his attack stat when he has a token really reflects the Dark Knight that never gave up on Gotham after the Cataclysm. It shows that he is even more dangerous when " pushed." Good thing he's Indomitable.
Just got back into the game after a 3-year hiatus. Things are looking fun. Can't wait for the Mighty Thor set to release.
Looks like a great figure to have in a higher point value game. Giving Batman TA to a theme team is always useful, especially if you can add the Brilliant Tach. FEAT to him in your game. Wouldn't mind throwing him on a Gotham City or Justice League theme team. Also a very mobile attacker with lots of good stats to back him up. (Charge plus Improved Movement trait equals Hypersonic speed lite)
200 Points is alot, especially for a Batman (although I'm a sucker for dials that reflect when a character is being written as a plot device). He doesn't pack enough bite for a 200 point piece, but that Trait is NASTY especially in high point games. Build the right team around him and you can do some terrible things, but it's all about who you use to utilize that trait and keeping him protected cause he is going to be the first thing your opponent goes for so either keep him well guarded and use that to your advantage.
He gives your whole theme team stealth, has impressively high and consistent attack values, outwit and perplex, decent damage. He's probably "worth" 200 points, but I don't see him delivering all that much more than a batman at close to half his point value. He'll definitely be more effective in higher point games.
I can think of many good ways to use Batman Team Ability with the Justice League keyword. The improved movement is a great idea. Allowing room for more/other abilities but still providing leap/climb. 200pts is a large investment in a 300pt game but he is a larger than life clix.
To me this is the definitive batman. I always viewed him as a human who can stand toe-to-toe with other superheroes even if they are "superhuman". I hope people don't dismiss this figure because he's 200 pts. I can't wait to try this guy out in a 400 pt game with the batmobile and robin...
He's what a dial should be in a set named after a major character. Here's to hoping Spider-Man and Wolverine get the same treatment next year for the Marvel fans.
