After I bought this for HCO I thought the dial was a mistake, but here it is, in all its short-lived "glory". I just...don't really get this dial. Some people might be impressed by the ability to fit Spidey on almost any team at those points, but this is not the SM for me.
I'm not familiar with the new ultimate spidey, and I like that they're trying to make him fill a different niche with him but a grounded character with no leap/climb with a webline in the sculpt seems like bad design to me. Reminds me of ffcw ironman, he's got a good dial but the contradiction of flying ironman sculpt and grounded ironman dial leaves him unplayed for now. I see a similar fate for this guy. Still worried classic red and blue spidey will wind up a chase.

yeah, i was going to comment on the accuracy of this piece, as it captures the essence of a rookie, 9th grade, fledgling superhero pretty well. but then i read the above comment and realized that he doesn't have leap/climb and he's in fact webswinging in his sculpt... i'd never use the figure either (not interested in the character or the mediocre dial) but, that's just ridiculous.
