(Special) Amulet of Damballah: At the beginning of the game, place an Amulet of Damballah relic token in a clear square as close to the center of the map as possible. This object does not count towards your force and is decribed on the back of the card.

AMULET OF DAMBALLAH
Immobile (Blue)

Relic 3-6

If another character friendly to The Zombie has this token on its card, The Zombie may be given one action as a free action each turn. If a character opposing to The Zombie has this token on its card, it can use Mind Control, but only to target The Zombie.
So based on a former ruling with DC10th's Luthor not being able to access his personal inventory while there's a resource in your force CAN I therefore logically assume Simon Garth would be Screwed out of his Amulet/Saved From an Opponent's control, If I were to have someone on my force Accessorizing with a Gauntlet or Utility Belt?
Or is there some sort of difference I'm not getting

It states that the Relic does not count toward your Force, so it will be placed.

Really, cool.
And It's different than the Elder's as they don't count towards your object total.
So there's an implicit understading that when you use Luthor
S personal inventory you're not only placing it on the map, you're also adding it to your force, for free.

At this point I think the accepted convention is that if it does not specifically say it is not added to or counting towards your force it does.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
