Quickly thrown together for ya. Feel free to tweak it a little bit. Justice League theme:
Big Barda 148
Guy Gardner 142
SoGFF Oracle 50
Invisible Jet-auto 50
Black Lightning 87
Batman 001r 100
12 pt UB on Barda 12
589 pt
Alpha strike with a ton of penetrating damage. Outsiders to negate modifiers. You can sub Batman out for whatever (I really just got lazy and threw him in there). If you guys are restricted to ONLY playing on the Month 6 map, then feel free to go non-theme. The backbone of the team is Barda w/ Belt, Guy, and Oracle. I'd even say the Jet is part of the core as well. The rest is interchangable IMO.
The Bug is less threatening in higher builds b/c it's lower stats become more obvious, and there is a whole lot more damage potential to wipe it out. We just had a 600 pt DC-only non-generic theme tournament not too long ago and the Bug wasn't much of a problem at all. There was at least one game where it had very little impact (Justice League theme vs Society theme; Silver Age event).

It will be outwittable. Batman/Nightwing duo with the belt and an outwit can almost one shot it. Prep time w/ them to +2 flurry. Clear next turn. Next turn outwit the defense on The Bug. Perplex up damage (they have perplex) on Batman/Nightwing. Duo attack but as their trait says, instead of making the second duo attack just charge and flurry. It goes down fast.

Personally I would wait for the Map til I make a team....But two words when dealing with a BUG ...PULSE WAVE
This is the answer to everything... No I would shut the bug down with lots of outwit. I heard the bug is less of a monster in larger games, but who said he has to be a primary attacker... He can do the support position wall thing just fine, and his support power is just broken when he can carry so many... Too bad it is capped to plus three...
Even if the map is terrible any blocking can be destroyed by a tank. Whenever they move into blocking it gets destroyed. So the bug could still be a problem.
