So I've been collecting for some time and have a moderate understanding of the game and all of its rules, Just need a friend with a mutual interest in Heroclix that lives in Ottawa, Ontario willing to game or if anyone can point me in the direction of a place where I could find more players around me would be nice. I want to put my collection to use for gaming and trading!

The Comic Book Shoppe 2 on Bank has OP events on Thursdays and Saturdays. The Hobby Center also has OP events on Saturdays (late morning), timed so you can participate and still make it to CBS2 to play in the early afternoon.
