This Iron Fist does a lot for the points and the keywords make him a must have for me. I wonder if he was made with the new Close Combat Expert rules in mind. Now that you can use it to pump up attack, the white power shouldn't be too hard to trigger. With a 13 attack he should be able to hit for 4 at will while based.
I hate to complain about a new Iron Fist, but I kinda think the secret invasion one is just as good if not better. The improved movement and charge is really nice. But no spidey TA stings a little. I'm betting those two regen clicks are going to be sweet when we see his mighty version.
Good numbers and powers, and a competitive point cost; somehow, it just doesn't feel like Iron Fist though. Can't really explain why. I should like this figure, but can't figure out why I don't. Maybe I'll feel differently one I've played him.

I thought like this, until I looked at it through the new CCE rules. +2 to his attack where you're (very likely) going to hit for 2 more than their defense, then you slam them for 3-4 dmg. This isn't even factoring in any perplex.. Just deadly! Maybe they could have swapped the dmg +1 for penetrating dmg, but that's nitpicking. This is one of the pieces that sold me on playing in FI.

Maybe it's the lack of wildcard? I kind of feel the same way, but I intend to give him a fair shake.
