Yeah I'm trying desperately to exploit indigo. Anything that prevents power actions is solid, and since I've been using brother voodoo a lot, I think I'll easily pick up her 1 token free action mechanic (especially with the phasing). I'm so sad leech will be saying goodbye next PG :-( Indigo is also amazing in conjunction with the new handcuffs since it is a power action to get out of them.
If a figure, like Captain Mar-Vell or the Arkham Asylum Guard, has capture granted through a special power, do you have to follow the section of Capture's rules detailing Countering Capture if you are countering the special power?

Nope.

If it's golden age, and high points, use Crisis Darkseid to bring your victims to your starting area next to Mar-Vell.
I once took that tactic and built it into a 1000 point team, full of redundancies. SI Thing, Chief, SI Adam Warlock, CR Despero, some TK, and I don't even remember what else.
Perplexing up Darkseid's range and Av, and yoinking a Stardust who'd moved into hindering with +2 perplexes to defense from one side of the Dawn of Man map to base Mar-Vell in his starting zone for a turn one capture, turn two release.

If a character can use the capture ability through a special power and captures a character but is then damaged to a point on his dial when it no longer has that spcial power, does it still hold it's captives or are they no longer captured?
