The funny part is, even if you killed both Cannonball and Magik, none of the original 400 points of my team had taken any damage.
That is the really sick part about the team bases in our league, is the ability to sometimes double the force the opponent has to deal with.
There are plenty of figures that can bring in figures, like Astral Stranges or Multiple Men, or things like that. But to be able to drop a figure AND them be able to do something right away is just crazy.
I'd say 150 is the New Mutants sweet spot. It drops the damage down 1, but when they drop characters, most of them are better than they are dropping from 200. Wolfbane comes out a Charge/Flurry/Blades with Battle Fury. Magik comes out on the Charge/Exploit/Blades/PC click with 11 attack. And if you use 2 of the cheaper characters, you can still get 2 off the base. (Like Wolfbane and Magma for example with her penetrating quake and poison)
