"asset abilities can be countered as if they were a combat ability"
Based on that wording, you do not outwit each face (or number), you just outwit one of the things granted by it. Best example being which grants Carry and Flight
Example, I have Trinity of Sin (i do!) and I have Pandora (can use Phasing/Teleport and Probability Control) and Phantom Stranger (Outwit and Poison) showing
You can outwit either Pandora's Phasing/Teleport or Probability Control, which would be an exception to normal special powers where you nail the whole thing
Or does it mean that you Outwit the face and all the powers it grants
My actual decision when this was first used was the face, not the underlying powers and that the bit about combat abilities was to show that TAs like Quintessence did not protect it
I was right the first time. I thought so but someone got a worm into my brain and made me doubt my answer
Was it Kahn?
