Hi! Today we were having a tournament and the question came up whether pulse wave overrides invincible or if you still ignore half the damage.

Could any of you clear this up for us? Thanks!

Pulse wave cuts right through it since it ignores game effects.

Unless it specifically says "Can not be ignored", Pulse Wave is unaffected by anything but walls, elevated terrain, and blocking terrain. Including all powers, traits, and abilities.

The Silver Centurion trait for example!

The other example would be something that would render the target illegal if you ignore it, such as the only reason a character using Pulse Wave being able to draw LoF to a character would be a special power that gives that character , like Crisis Uncle Sam or Justice League Joker.
