I am new to the game and the forums. I did a lot of googling and research on this topic but, I haven't found a definitive answer. I bought the AvX starter sets to get started in the game and it has been a blast. Cyclops has long been a favorite character of mine, so I use him a lot. My question is about his AvX Leadership Team ability:
Can he use this Team Ability Leadership and the Leadership he gets from "Lets put the world back on track" together?
For instance: I am on my first three clicks of Cyke where I get LPtWBoT and do my leadership roll. I hit a 6. With the AvX TA I get to remove an action token from Cyke.
In that scenario can I also remove one from an adjacent Character for LPtWBoT, or do I make a choice?
Do I have The AvX Team Leadership at my disposal on every turn or just when Leadership is granted through LPtWBoT?
And finally, to use an AVX TA do you have to have other AvX set pieces or is that just something cool Cyke gets to use on his own from being from the AvX set?
one more addition to the question: the effect of LPtWBoT's leadership metions adjacent character with a shared keyword being considered at a lower point value. What is the value of this?
The AvX Team Base abilities, if I'm understanding your question correctly, only applies when Cyclops is attached to the Team Base that hasn't been released yet. That ability would only be able to then be used by the team base when the Cyclops symbol was showing (or specifically be able to be used by other means) on the asset dial.
It has absolutely no effect on the single figure as it stands.

1) What do you mean by "AvX Team Ability" ??? Cyke only has his special power leadership; he doesn't have it from anywhere else.
2) Usually with Leadership, on a roll of 5 or 6, you can remove a token from an adjacent character of lower point value. Cyke's special Leadership lets you remove a token from a higher-point character if they share a keyword.

Leadership normally works by rolling the d6, and then if it succeeeds, you may remove an action token from an adjacent figure of a lower cost. Cyclops' special allows him to remove tokens from adjacent figures no matter their point value, as long as they share a keyword.

Ok that must be it. That last ability on the card is for his team base. Ok that makes sense. The icon next to it is a picture of his head. Great answers guys. Sorry for the newbness lol.

I'm certain that everyone has asked themselves that question the first time they were introduced to Team Bases.

absolute right, there is nothing on RB about that, not team base nor team member, i think that should be added to RB and player guide
Well, I mean, it makes sense. It's obviously not a trait, Team ability, power, special power etc. It's our fault for assuming that we can use it. Though I don't particularly see the reason that it's on the individual card....

It's on the card because, unlike every team base we've had so far, the asset dial for the X-Men and Avengers TBs won't have a specific person showing but rather a number. Allowing you to customize your TB as you see fit. So when the asset dial has the number showing whatever character you have in that place will be the ability you get. That is why Professor X can go on both bases.
