That Uber mastermind is just going to be redonk when you have some colossi sitting next to him, allowing him to ignore and mitigate 4 clicks from duel imperv figs, or more if they get the imperv rolls for damage beyond 4. Add on Shape Change from time to time, just silly. I like his uber mind control, showing off that omega level chrome dome of his, and he can target up to THREE FIGS, OUTRAGEOUS I SAY! Lets not forget his super handy support powers, catering to all his students needs and mega leadership, got to keep them in the fight, for those who can actuelly roll leadership lol. All in all, to me, this is a 5 star professor, his classes are advanced.
Please can his nickname be Professor Edge, on the grounds of his trait 'you think you know me.'
Anyway this is an amazing figure for so many reasons. 3 targets makes him an incredible target for so many mandarin rings (electro blast, ice blast, flame blast if you want a single big explosion), hammers (running shot you say) etc. An ability to mitigate damage over 2 characters is very useful especially with such resources as the Phoenix force granting invulnerable in spades.
but hey, I just like triple target mind controls. Morgan Le Fay was great laughs a decade ago, and now you don't even take the feedback.
You'd think chuck would have indomitable though... nul hammer to the rescue

Retired, as per WK's rotation and judiciary replacement decisions. Talk about metaception.
VERY good Prof X !! Give him a Resource providing Running Shot, and this guy gets a 12-square swing for triple-target Mind Control, even into Stealth!?! I CAN'T LET YOU DO THIS combined with an 8-Range and NO LOF REQUIREMENTS can significantly impact your opponents' mobility: anyone without Willpower will take pushing damage to use Move-and-Attack powers. Plus, if a figure already has 1-Token when Chuck gets within range, that figure will not be able to use a Power Action at all !!
A hammer giving a character 4 range does not add to the current range of a character if there range is already 4 or greater. That would break the 3 limit rule on perplexing up a power. 12 range would be nice but Prof X would stick with 8 range since 8 is greater then a range of 4. Hope this makes sense and helps you out.
It would be nice to have characters soaking up mastermind damage to be able to reduce the damage from rolls like impervious even more, but because mastermind is not considered an attack the rolls for things like impervious, shape change and super senses would not be triggered. A character with a damage reducing power would just ignore the amount of damage specific to the power.

you still get the roll for impervious. Impervious reads "when dealt damage" doesn't say from an attack.

he meant the hammer gives him running shot which lets him move then attack giving him a 12 square "swing" i.e. move then attack with 8 range, not a 12 range.

Oh ok I didn't take that in to account the running shot power and other resources not just hammers. That makes more sense and I will keep that benefit in mind when I get my Prof X participation prize :D
I feel what makes this Professor X so potent is his power that turns power actions into double power actions on all opposing characters within range. Since it states "within range" and not within his "printed range," I'm going to throw the Uru Forge on him to essentially shut down all opposing characters within 11 squares. This is now my favorite Professor X. Not quite perfect for a Professor X yet, but it's the best we've got.
