Tried this out and went 2-0 tonight (admittedly in "fun" games that weren't competitive):

I just wanted to make the Defiant as lethal as possible. Up close, at Range, no difference. Use Sensor Sweep and Sulu every turn to hit on Battle Stations and roll 5 Defense die every turn.

The free move on Reliant makes it super mobile. It almost always got into position to fire without retaliation. Some turns I even got 6 Defense dice on Defiant with Terrell's buff.

That's pretty awesome. That Flagship plus Kyle is particularly nice.

I wish I had people (and time) to play fun games with so I could try out wacky stuff like this.

That's the main time I get to play (bye player) and I almost always run something goofy. I really want to try out the Ferengi again now that the Flagship Resource is out.

It was fun. It played like the fanboys think the Defiant should play!

Pure, crazy amounts of damage dealing.

DS, the Ferengi work well with the independent flagship that has the target lock and grants extra moves. The sideboard works well to get multiple uses of conditional surrender.

I tried something similar Friday night against a friend's Dominion build that had fought a more traditional 3-ship Federation build to the bitter end.

Anyway ... this dominated. I think I took 3 damage the entire game. Enterprise and Defiant trashed opponent's battleship quickly then Defiant led a pair of patrol ships on a wild goose chase while Enterprise followed and picked them off. Was a really fun build, maybe my favorite I've tried.

I got a point value on something wrong because I thought I remember it being exactly 100, but you guys get the idea.
