I agree with the posts saying a forum would be better, whether it's a wizkids forum or other forum. Email only is hideously inefficient at communicating to the masses, and I find it pretty baffling that's what they're currently going with.

While often burnt when expressing such optimism I will say...
Perhaps the documentation will be updated more regularly using information from the emails exchanged. Perhaps this will prevent rulings lost to forum history and never documented as we have often seen in the past. Rather than spending time cruising the forums maybe the time will go into an updated and streamlined players guide. The new format was supposed to make updating easier, perhaps this is a step two of many steps rather than just a thing that happens and is the end of a story.
I realize I have no information to support this but I'll still be crossing my fingers but not holding my breath.
That was the old rules team. I have to admit that I'd seen their posts and they were jerks.
I never saw the new rules team be rude to anyone. Not on the rules forum anyway.
Ahhhh, good old WizKids communication.
They are either :
- Burying their head in the sand. (removing posts from their Facebook page)
- Not saying anything at all (product delayed for weeks and they say nothing)
- Waiting till the last minute (announcing Canadian Championships so late)
- Displaying a holier than thou attitude
- flip flopping decisions

I agree that they should answer questions on a forum, but I don't agree that it should be on any forum. I think it should only be on a Wizkids forum.
I also don't see why it shouldn't be censored. It's rules questions. I don't really see why they can't be allowed to delete posts or threads that have nothing to do with the rules. Maybe the rules for a general discussion forum might be different, but if I have a question on how a figure works, I don't need a bunch of other posts complaining about the figure being broken or how Wizkids can't get their wording correct. I just want the question answered.
But when you ask valid questions on their Facebook page, they are sometimes deleted and the questions never answered. Thats not censoring responsibly. Thats being a poor host.

I'm talking about a forum for rules questions and not a general forum where any topic can be discussed. A rules questions forum is not the appropriate place to discuss company issues. Both the old and new rules people never had any control over the forum they were to answer questions in. They should have had that.
If a player wants to know if they can use Exploit Weakness and Flurry together, they should just be able to ask the question and get an answer on a rules forum. They don't need to deal with people arguing about power creep, or watch lists, or wording semantics. Just get the answer and go play. A simple question shouldn't go into 500 posts of arguing and complaining.

I have only seen them delete posts expressed rudely. I have made several posts on their page asking about things like the Cap 2 PAC fiasco and not only had them not deleted but actually responded to.

Unfortunately no once cares when people are treated nicely. They just want to hear or complain about the times where they felt they were slighted.
