I was looking at the ring relics from the WoL set and I had a question regarding the wording:

If a character who already has that selected keyword for this example Sister Sercy attempts to pick it up and succeeds does she only get the +1 to combat stats and not the additional: ?

it say that if it has the keyword it gets the +1 only, if it doesn't have the keyword it will get when a non-adjacent friendly character within 6 squares takes 3 or more damage, after actions resolve, if that character hasn't been healed this turn, you may place this character adjacent to that character and heal that character of 1 damage

If the character allready has the Keyword it "only" gets +1 to it's combat values.

Thanks all. The excessive use of comas made it slightly confusing to me and I wanted to make sure I was reading it correctly.

Sister Secy does not have the Indigo Tribe keyword. She has Blue Lantern Corps

Sister Sercy would, as A-B points out, only get the 'not a member' benefit, not the +1
