Well, the thing is that the entities should have never been ruled to work with that stuff to begin with. That's exactly the kind of thing the line in the pg is there for. So instead of issuing a new clarification, all that was needed was using the existing rules to make the rulings.

Indeed. I admit I got sucked up into the WizKids new rulings on new stuff that contradicted old rulings so they issued new rulings that weren't really required to begin with and even then they added possible loopholes in the new rules that don't exist if you use older rules.
