(Attack) We'll Wipe Out These Ruffians Together!: When Commandant makes an attack roll, if either the dice rolled is a 6, after action resolves, an adjacent friendly character that shares a keyword with Commandant may make a ranged combat attack against the same target as a free action.
as I understand it, this power does not check for HIT/MISS. so even if I miss the attack roll with Commandant and 1 of the d6 is a 6 an adjacent figure with a shared keyword gets to make a range attack as a free action?

BSI013 Slate:
(Attack) Our Power is a Sacred Honor: Slate can use Barrier. When he does, after actions resolve, he may use Pulse Wave as a free action as if he occupied the same square as one of the placed markers.
if Pulsewave targets only 1 character, will enhancement increase the damage by 1? can I park a unit with enhancement next to Slate then do Slate's special Barrier/Pulsewave away from both Slate and the Enhancement figure
Slate barrierbarrier <-choose this barrier to pulsewave
Enhan barrierbarrier
will Slate get the Enhancement or is he considered as being on the barrier token for that entire action?
also if it doesn't work for Slate will it work for BSI 010 Vox Populi?
Quote
(Attack) Hidden Gunpowder Bomb: Vox Populi can use Pulse Wave, but draws line of fire and counts range from an unheld object within range and line of fire. When he does, after actions resolve, remove that object from the game.
Quote
BSI 009 Siren:
(Damage) Inspiring Song: Siren can use Support. When she does and the character is healed, after actions resolve, the targeted character may immediately use Charge or Running Shot as a free action.
If Siren targets a character who's at click #1 with support and succeeds even though the character did not move the dial due to being at top click already, will they get Charge/Running Shot as a free action?
also what is the limit on same actions? Example: Siren heals Wonder Girl, Wonder Girl uses free action Running Shot and her power
Quote
(Speed) Pull Them Closer: Give Wonder Girl a ranged combat action as if she had a range value of 6. When she does and hits, in addition to the normal effects, place the opposing character adjacent to Wonder Girl and she my make a close combat attack as a free action targeting that opposing character.
say she succeeds on both hits and the second hit is doubles so she knocks the character back, can I use "Pull them Closer" again as my actual tokenable action?
and lastly, bit off topic actually. what are the limits of Superman Enemy Team Ability?
I have Indigo and a Team of Chaos War Ultron Drones if I box Indigo how many actually get to use Superman Enemy TA's Outwit?
Quote
(Special) Embedded by Brainiac: When Indigo is adjacent to friendly characters with the Prime's Titans or Robot keyword, she and those characters can use Superman Enemy team ability.
the formation is
Drone 1 Indigo Drone 2
Drone 3 Drone 4
do I make Pairs and use 1 outwit per pair or Indigo being the highest point figure adjacent to any drone gets the only SE TA outwit?
that was a lengthy one but I figure I should Stockpile them to not clutter the board

If the target of Support is not healed (that dial has to click for it to count), then I'm pretty sure it cannot use the free action Charge/Running Shot.

1 down 5 to go

6. Make pairs, each character can only use 1 outwit per turn, so Indogo can't net 5 uses from pairings. Still good though. And remember, it only lasts as long as they remain adjacent, so this formation may make you could lose 3 outwits if one drone moves.

5. The limit on same actions is you can't do the same thing twice as a free action, and you can only do one non-free action per turn:
Quote
A character may not activate the same game effect
twice in one turn with free actions, unless the game effect indicates otherwise.
So Wonder Girl could free action running shot, free action pull them closer ranged attack, free action pull them closer close combat attack knocking them back, then regular action pull them closer ranged attack, and (because flurry sets the precedent) in this rare circumstance you can free pull them closer as a close combat attack again, ending the brutal assault.

I got a few answers to some of the questions I posted
we've been playing Commandant without a check for HIT/MISS, since the power does not require a hit
(Attack) We'll Wipe Out These Ruffians Together!: When Commandant makes an attack roll, if either the dice rolled is a 6, after action resolves, an adjacent friendly character that shares a keyword with Commandant may make a ranged combat attack against the same target as a free action.
pulsewave and enhancement
Pulsewave:
Quote
Give this character a Ranged Combat Action even if it is adjacent to an opposing character; the area of effect for this attack is half the character's range. Draw lines of fire to all other characters within the area of effect, including at least one opposing character; these lines of fire ignore all game effects except for walls, blocking and elevated terrain. Game effects possessed or used by characters with a lino of fire drawn to them are ignored until the action has been resolved. If a line of fire is drawn to more than 1 character, this characters damage value becomes 1 and is locked. Each character hit is dealt damage.
Enhancement
Quote
When an adjacent friendly character makes a ranged combat attack, this character modifies the adjacent friendly character’s damage value by +1.
I bolded the important part, since pulsewave is a Range Combat Actions which leads to a Range Combat Attack. Enhancement will increase the character's damage, problem is that normal pulsewave draws LOF to everyone around the user, and ignores their powers and abilities, even a special pulsewave has it's restrictions since it could still potentially draw a LOF to the enhancement character and lock the value at 1 thus making enhancement moot
(Attack) Our Power is a Sacred Honor: Slate can use Barrier. When he does, after actions resolve, he may use Pulse Wave as a free action as if he occupied the same square as one of the placed markers.
however he would not be eligible for enhancement since when he makes the attack he is considered to be in the square of blocking terrain while that action resolves
Slate barrierbarrier <-choose this barrier to pulsewave
Enhanment figure barrierbarrier
however while it does not work for Slate, Vox Populi has the right kind of Pulsewave that would benefit form Enhancement
(Attack) Hidden Gunpowder Bomb: Vox Populi can use Pulse Wave, but draws line of fire and counts range from an unheld object within range and line of fire. When he does, after actions resolve, remove that object from the game.
and finally, there is a limit to free actions so with Siren granting Running Shot you'll have to be careful for example
running shot
Quote
Give this character a power action; halve its speed value for the action. Move this character up to its speed value and it may be given a ranged combat action as a free action.
so if you pick Running Shot after being healed by Siren, you won't be able to use a Ranged Combat Action as a free action so any power that gives you a Ranged Combat Action afterwards will activate the Range Combat Action so if you did
Siren free Running Shot and then did Tokenable Running Shot it would go like this
Good call on Slate. I didn't notice the wording difference, my mistake.
Siren is not quite right though, you can still get a second ranged combat action as a free action if it is a different free ranged combat action (ie vanilla attack and Psy Blast, Pulse Wave and Mind Control, Incap and Psy Blast, etc).

yeah I should've made the distinction. I was only going on Vanilla Attacks.
Wow, a couple guys at our 2 venues have been playing Slate very wrong then. Enhancing him up 3 times for brutal pulse waves. Good to know Slate is not that evil. No more 6 damage single target plus wave for him

1. You are right, you don't need to hit to get the free action attack, you just need a ":::" to be rolled.
Sorry I took so long, The Vision.

I've been using Slate with enhancement because I interpreted "...as if he occupied the same square as one of the barrier markers" to be as if he was occupying that square, not that he was actually occupying that square for lof purposes. He was just using that square to extend his range. That's how I took it.
Not known for having skilled takes on rulings, I was curious as to if I was screwing something up here. (reason # 451 as to why you'll never see me compete at Worlds.)
So recently I was asking one of my judges what he thought and we looked it up at the Wizkids rules forum page and here's what we found:
Here's the question:
"I was wondering how these scenarios would play out....
Example 1: Slate (BioShock) and enhancement.
OUR POWER IS A SACRED HONOR: Slate can use Barrier. When he does, after actions resolve, he may use Pulse Wave as a free action as if he occupied the same square as one of the placed markers.
Can I enhance his pulse wave?
It seems to me that if the enhancers were adjacent to Slate it wouldn't work because he attacks from a different square.
If the enhancers were adjacent to the square he attacked from, they'd be within range and PW would ignore the enhancement anyways.
Example 2: MODOK (CAP set) and enhancement.
PSYCHIC BOMB: MODOK can use Pulse Wave. When he does, choose a keyword that MODOK possesses. Friendly characters with the chosen keyword are not affected by this use of Pulse Wave.
In this case, it still seems that it wouldn't work because even though the friendlies aren't affected by the PW, the PW would be affected by the friendlies.
Thanks for the help!"
And the answer from the Wizkids Rules Team:
1. Slate's Pulse Wave damage could be affected by Enhancement, but only if he draws line of fire to only one character. If he draws lines of fire to more than one character from the Barrier square he is considered to be occupying, the damage value would be locked at 1. While he is using the Barrier square for the Area of Effect of Pulse Wave, he is still in the square he occupies for any other game effects such as enhancement.
2. While the friendly characters would not be affected by the use of Pulse Wave, they still had a line of fire drawn to them, so damage would be locked at 1.
