Just a quick note, giving an opponent battle fury does not make their range 0, it only states they can't make ranged combat attacks/actions, can't remember which. Anywho, a nice way to finish off the team would be Ebony Maw (65 points) from the Guardians comic set. You might want to consider re working your team, because spectre's just "okay" in my opinion.
If you wanted to rework your team, you could try this team I just whipped up:
34DP007B The Professor
87 GOTG016 Nebula
56 GOTG003 Mantis
118 WXM031 Gambit
295
This team provides the prob control you need, Nebula can shut down despotellis teams, and Gambit can deal some decent damage.

Not sure what you are referring to. Spectre doesn't give anyone Battle Fury. If he chooses to possess the power, he becomes unable to be targeted unless adjacent to him.
I have to disagree. I think he is one of the more viable tent pole pieces.
I could be wrong here, but I don't think so.
Ebony Maw is a fantastic idea.
I'm going to play test him..
I do like the team you made. (love gambit)
Unfortunately it is a completely different strategy then I was going for.
Pretty much if you can't get a one target pulsewave off, or have a really strong CC piece Professor/spectre becoming very hard to take down.
The idea is to cut down some of these heavy range teams I keep seeing.

Glad I could help! About the battle fury, I was getting his power confused with the one Shriek has that gives people battle fury. (oops!)
Aah now I see what you are trying to do with Spectre. It's a risky idea, but you could definitely pull it off!
Yeah there area a couple things that really hurt it, but it also is a pretty hard counter to a couple of the most popular teams.
Bill becomes useless, bizzaro has problems, and Pharoah can't really do anything.
