I couldn't find this anywhere so I thought I'd ask while I'm reading through some old Feats...

For option 3, the attack can target an opposing character up to 4 squares away from the object, or a soaring character up to 2 squares away from the object. For both options, the character must have a clear line of fire to the object and the target. All other rules for Telekinesis apply normally.
So since the description on TK has changed since then to essentially allow the "within 6 squares" and "within 4 squares" options on this feat... but does the second one extend "new TK's" reach up to 10 squares for moving objects? Meaning if an object is 10 squares away from you, could you move it 10 squares (as long as it ends up within 10 squares of the TKer)? Yeah, I know an extra 2 squares is minimal and only works for moving objects (which is really not an effective use of 12 points), but it could really throw an opponent off if they weren't paying attention.
Just curious if I'm interpreting that right.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
with this you'd have the option of A, B, and this character being within 8 of each other (normal)
or
A within 6 of this character, A and this character can each be within 10 or B
Any reference to an "option" of Telekinesis is resolved as follows. Option 1: A is an opposing character; Option 2: A is a friendly character or A is an object placed with no
attack; Option 3: A is an object placed to make an attack.
So apply that to the Feat and it should work out.

So it'll let me move an object (not for an attack) within 10 squares (as opposed to the normal 8 now) and everything else is more limited, right?
And being that it's "may use," I can still use the normal 8 for everything except moving the object, right?
Just making sure I'm interpreting this correctly.

More or less.
Just remember that WK will no longer officially answer questions regarding feats and BFCs.
So if you and yours wish to tweak Telekinetic Reach to work a bit differently, go right ahead.

Which is why I asked here. LOL!
