I would definitely call this hypersonic speed. And it's not killing, the dial clearly says KO'd.

Why would there be a rule about picking up Ultra heavy.

Yes, Superman is supposed to be super-fast, but my bigger problem with it comes from comic book accuracy.
I don't really remember many Superman Comics involving him running through, punching someone in the face, then running into a corner to protect himself. Give him full movement charge, and I'd say that's more accurate. Or Running Shot and Charge, but full movement.
Then again, I could be speaking from previous issues of watching SM001 running out from behind cover, KOing a fig in one hit, then hiding just out of range for any other enemy unit.
My two cents, and all that aside, I get why people love this fig.

You can still play him comic accurately. Just don't run after you hit someone. Or run to the next guy you wanna hit. Same with Batman. He doesn't always stay in stealth and use ranged combat attacks, but ppl who play him comic inaccurately do that.

This game has little to nothing to do with comic accuracy.

If you want to play Superman comic book accurately, he would not be able to KO anyone but Dr. Light.

The comic accurate depiction of superman and heroclix has been being argued since OWaW Superman, when they first gave him hypersonic, impervious and 5 dmg... Get over it... Because comic accurate is a bunch of GCPD taking down the entire shiar guard, or H4H crew members able to take down the likes of the JLA... or better yet, the entity of adara possessing the cosmic disease despotellis. lol oh, and Iron Pharaoh never existed outside of being a comic book cover variant... There's your accuracy.

I suggest you read Injustice: Gods Among Us, then. Because this is that Superman.

Got curb-stomped by this Supes in sealed the other night. The Leadership + healing ability is just insane. Sure, you can outwit him, if you 1) manage to get close enough, and then 2) can hit the 20 defense he'll likely be sporting. A very hardcore Superman.

Even as an avid Batman-Fan (yes, yes, who isn't?) when I bought my JL:TW Brick this Superman piece was actually my Top Want out of the entire Set. Moreso than the Batman Super Rare (or Wonder Woman.) As mentioned already, this piece benefits greatly from the Justice League: New 52 ATA. Definitely a more aggressive version of Kal-El (... New 52 ...) and for my money, the best piece at 250 Points you can field. He doesn't need Relics, Constructs, Resources or Entities to dominate the map (granted a S.T.A.R Labs Tech is ALWAYS welcome.) In the hands of both novice and experienced players alike, he commands ultimate respect and attention. Seems like Superman to me ...

I would so play him with 2 Superman Action Figures by his side in a 300 point no tactics game :p

When using his damage power for leadership do all characters need to be adjacent to get the plus 1Defense and attack and for leader ship as well

Friendly characters do not have to be adjacent to Superman to gain the +1 to their AV and DV. Only to peel off an action token (if they are of a lower point value).

This is ne of the best figures ever made in the game. Period. Great SPs, awesome combat values, and great abilities. Should be a good tent-pole for some time to come. 5's all across the board!
