Hate to say it, but the only thing that beats a Weaponer in sealed is another Weaponer and then it comes down to who can hit who first. Most overpowered non-unique/Super Rare, or Chase figure I may have ever seen in the game.

This could've never been further from the truth. Ive beaten weaponer time and again, my favorite was trapping it with double barrier from 2 orange lanterns. It may seem poweful but that boot symbol is a huge weakness. Against other tentpoles, yes a weaponer is always favored, but against a balanced team? I'm starting to think the weaponer is a little disadvantaged.
This piece is ridiculous in sealed. Pulled 2 of him last night in my stores month 2 WoL event and ran one with a Sinestro recruit went 3-0 for first place and an Arkillo. My first match I beat a team running the paralaax entity on Mongul and the Weaponer took 3 clix of damage and that would be it all night. If you're beating this in sealed you're playing someone who isn't very good at Heroclix or got terrible dice rolls. (Keep in mind in my final match I rolled a 3 twice in a row to miss my first 2 swings at another Mongul and I still won handily thanks to a good impervious roll, the net construct and Perplex protection from the battery which I wasn't too impressed with but that's a story for another day.) So in summation, like everyone else said, this fig is a monster in sealed and since I have yet to use him in constructed I won't comment on that but his value in sealed alone warrants a 5 star rating. I'm guessing he's only 4 stars like Sentroid cause people get crushed by him and come on here and give him a crap rating. Ive been fortunate enough to not face him and I'm happy I won't get a chance to for 2 months!
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

As beastly as this guy is, Barrier and Plasticity and even Smoke Cloud make him sadface even on an outdoor map. Especially on the Month 1 and 2 maps, Weaponer can be funneled into a lane because of his :m-boot: and forced to deal with a tie-up figure by at least burning a ranged attack on it. This significantly hurts his alpha strike potential. He's not entirely to blame, though, as the current Plasticity 'traffic-cop' rules would also stop fliers trying to zip by and are what make figures like the Orange Lantern Construct useful. While not useless on his backdial, he gets that game-enduring double edge sword of being easy to heal and easy to double-tap for lights out. I've felled and seen this guy fall in Sealed to the aforementioned lowly Orange generic's annoyingness, and to HSS figures able to outposition him using elevated and/or blocking terrain even without a mis-play by the Weaponer's player. I really want to give this guy 4.5 stars for playability (but see below). He's not truly a solo act, but is still absolutely a force to be reckoned with at 211 he has the space to be built around even in 300 to help with his mobility deficiency, such as a TK/secondary attacker, the Flight Fingaling Fenix Farce to give him :m-wing:, or to be disgusting in another way, Mokk's Hammer for a 14 attack guy who says "Barrier? Who cares?" In the end, what I like about him is that he's a very good figure but not a true free-win. And, in the end, that's 5-star design in my book.

Arguendo of the Beige Lanterns (Pedantry Corps)
Feb 2015: JL Trinity War has have given us the CSA, playable and together. Twice. ROCK ON!
REClixed: Justice for Dmitri Pushkin (your sacrifice will not be forgotten)! New generic Rocket Red @50-75 points while we're at it? Still no 19DV Defender? (WoS Groot doesn't count)
Power Girl AND Bust.
I am looking at the dials on all the Entities and trying to figure out which one is the best to play on Weaponer in the 300 meta.
I am thinking Adara or Entity for the first click Probability Control,
or Predator for the first click of Sidestep, EE, ESD and Shape Change and the many late dial clicks of Shape Change and Mystics and Quint teams.
Viva la Weaponer.

White Entity is best with Weaponer, imo. since he will be a OMA pretty much in a 300 point game. White Entity works wonders with OMA's.

Had my choice for wave 1 or 2 tonight in WOL, picked wave 1 and pulled this guy. My 3rd round, I was against 300pt Thanos. Weaponer decimated Thanos in 2 shots. Pulse wave for 5 damage off the top then he attacked and I made Impervious. 2nd attack, Charge with exploit weakness for the final 5, then 1 dead Titan.
This guy destroyed the SR Parallax in two turns. Salaak TK'd him out with a perplex to damage, he running shot pulse waved for 6. Then after Lax missed, I perplexed up my attack and hit again with Psy blast for 5. That was one crispy critter. But of course, I was stupid and let myself be poisoned to death by Despotellis, because I didn't remember I could use poison through this guy's ATK special. Still an amazing figure.
I was trained by fighting The Red Skull and Frank Castle. You think you scare me?
Nope! This is actually the dude who created Sinestro's original ring way back when. During Brightest Day, he made his hammer and shield (which were both powered up by the White Light) out of constructs left over by Deadman after his fight with the Anit-Monitor. He gets fed up with Sinestro for all of the shenanigans he causes, starts calling himself THE Weaponer, and decides to get revenge on Sinestro by kidnapping his daughter, Soranik Natu. In the process of capturing her, he even takes down Kyle Rayner. So even though there are lots of Weaponers from Qward, this is THE Weaponer of Qward. And his representation as a fig captures that perfectly. He is such a monster if used correctly!
