Plasticity shouldn't stop them. For one she is a size larger than Atomica and two she is a flyer and ignores characters for movement. Please let me know if this changed.

She can move throught characters, but she dont ignore then.
Plasticity
This character adds 2 to its d6 roll when breaking away. Opposing characters can’t automatically break away from this character and subtract 2 from their d6 roll when breaking away from this character. Opposing characters entering a square adjacent to this character must end their movement, even if they would not have to do so normally.
And To ignore atomica, with the new size rules, she needs to be Giant. ( 2 sizes bigger than atomica)

When they announced the size rules they changed the wording on plasticity. I haven't looked to see if the change was made on the latest PAC but I assumed that it was, here is the article where they mentioned it.

And one last change that is needed to tie this all up (get it?) is a change to the standard power Plasticity:
(old plasticity wording you quoted)
REVISED: This character adds 2 to its d6 roll when breaking away. Opposing characters subtract 2 from their d6 roll when breaking away from this character. Opposing characters of the same size or smaller can’t automatically break away from this character and must end their movement when entering a square adjacent to this character, even if they would not have to do so normally.

Still has Goliath and Octopus with plasticity to hold the mary
The only thing Mary Marvels can do against plasticity figures is throw the one light object they probably packed along with their Ultra Heavies. Doc Octopus however has giant reach so doesn't even need to stand next to them.
