Assume that a character using Telekinesis is on a direct north/south column with the target of an attack it wishes to make using Telekinesis and an object.
Assume that the object is some number of squares to the right (east) in the same row as the character being targeted.
Assume that the attacker rolls doubles or otherwise causes knockback.
From which direction would the knockback trigger?
1: From the attacking character, going south to the target, pushing the target further south on that same column?
2: From the object, going west to the target, pushing the target further west on that same row?
Example here, if I can get the diagram to work right.
A_______
________
T______O
Where A is Attacker, T is Target, and O is Object.
No, not asking about any figure in particular. Merely asking about knockback on Telekinesis when the object being used might theoretically cause knockback.
It came up in a 200 points game at about midnight last night.
