Totally agree on the not wanting to use unfamiliar characters as focal points in my forces.

Some fun things about using the new Shang-Chi (if my napkin math approximations are correct):

• Outsiders will bump his average damage output to ~ 3.50 vs 18 def
• +2/3 attack will bump his average damage output to ~ 3.18/3.95 vs 18 def respectively
• His new best friend is Midnighter with his -1 defense to adjacent characters, which would bump his Outsiders average damage output to ~ 5.48 vs 18 def (printed)

I have a Martial Artist team built for him that will improve on those numbers. Stay tuned to next month's episodes to hear about it. (I likely won't get to play the team for a few weeks)

I was just kind of "meh" about that new Shroud, but after hearing you guys talk about him, I am jazzed to try him out!

So with Daken, they only used black ink for the numbers. That's why regen doesn't show the defense value, and it's why the purple LOOKS really dark, when it is actually just not usual to see a black number inside the purple.
