This character is a game changer for the Sinister Syndicate, hell for any team you put him on. Being able to bring in whatever you need in a match is a huge boost. The hardest part about using him is choosing just 3 figures for his disguises.
Here's hoping we get a Vanilla Ice Clix in the next TMNT set.
So what kicks in first? A disguise's shape change or the "master of disguises" trait?
Shape Change: when this character is chosen as the target of an attack...on a result...attacker can't target this character...
Trait: any time [this] character is targeted with an attack...
Easily my favourite in the set. Having the option to bring in an additional powerhouse or suppor piece when you need them well that is just awesome. Mystique and morph should be well upset. They nver got a power as good as this one. Who to bring, im likin mystique, bruce wayne from dark night rises. Vanisher there are so many great options and just fun ones. Think they did right restricting the disguises from using the replace powers. Can you imagine bringing beast boy and more. Tha would be so shifty.
I'm confused about Chameleon's I Could Be Anyone power. The last sentence states "Disguises can't be replaced or chosen for any game effects unless used by Chameleon" The way I'm reading it is the disguises he chooses are limited to what powers they can use, based on what powers Chameleon is able to use. Is this correct? So if I chose Peggy Carter, as someone mentioned, my interpretation of Chameleon's power would only allow Peggy to use Super Senses and none of the other powers she has. So basically I'm interpreting the Chameleon's power as the disguise can only use powers it has in common with Chameleon. Is this incorrect?
What the power means is that the disguises can't used for, say, ID card call ins, or split/merge shenanigans, or as a replacement for something else beaides Chameleon.
This guy is a must-play on Sinister Syndicate teams. Between him, FF Kingpin, Norman Osborn, Overdrive, LE Doc Ock, etc., Syn. Sin. teams have become a lot more competitive.
Thank you Blackbeltsam. But if you could indulge me one more time, I' am a bit dense at times , I want to make sure I'm playing correctly. So if Chameleon uses Colossus #001 from the UXM set as a disguise, the disguise can use the Charge, Super Strength, Invincible and 3 points of damage? That is until it is targeted and rolls a 1-4 and is replaced with Chameleon?
