Biggest regrets:
1) Didn't get to call enough people mongrels
2) Nobody told Sakura they liked her fish
3) Illya didn't get to tell everyone why she doesn't need to be best girl
4) Archer didn't get to do the Unlimited Blade Works chant
5) Not enough sex based win conditions
6) No chance to post romantic scenes filled with incomprehensible metaphors about defenseless scubasuits
7) No jokes about blue dolphins or golden dragons
8) No jokes about granny bikes or berser-car
Best things:
1) Kirei winning the best girl vote twice
2) Getting to say "people die when they are dead"
3) Shirou magnetting Caster while she's doing a mana transfer
4) Bob correctly guessing Gilgamesh/JoH needed to be lynched
5) This
You are the future version of protagonist Shirou Emiya aka Archer (Townish). Once upon a time, you were a main character and fought as a master in the Holy Grail War. You grew powerful and afterwards, were selected to be a guardian of the planet. You killed thousands, trying to be a hero of justice. In the end, the ones you saved condemned you to die. Such is the life of a fool who would try to be a hero. Now, you've been summoned to the past to take part in another Grail War, this time as a servant. One of your opponents is your past self, Shirou Emiya before he became you.
"Forgotten" Who I Am (Passive) - Your new username is Servant Archer. Your password is .... Posted votes and night targets submitted with your normal account will be invalid. You must use your new account to vote, submit night action and gain posts to use your Noble Phantasm powers.
Gar-cher (Passive) - Straight males on the Internet seem to be attracted to you because you are so cool. Your vote counts double.
Faker (Active) - You use projection to make copies of your opponents' weapons out of thin air. Each night, you may target a servant and fight them one on one. This will cause them to target you but you will learn the texts of one of their noble phantasm abilities.
Excellent Eyesight (Active) - Target a location. You will learn what players were there at night. This can be used from any location.
Fire Support (Passive/Free) - Rin cannot be nightkilled while at your location unless you are roleblocked. You may extend this protection to any other masters at your location if you so choose.
Rho Aias (Passive, Noble Phantasm, costs ???) - Copying the legendary shield of Ajax, you will survive nightkill but will use up a number of posts equal to the cost of the attack. You will then become "weakened" for two nights. You cannot use this ability when weakened.
Caladbolg II (Active, Noble Phantasm, costs 15 posts) - Copying the legendary sword of Fergus Mac Roich and modifying it into an arrow, you can nightkill another player. Instead of just targeting a player, you may specify conditions for this power like "Nightkill the first player who targets me or Rin" or "Nightkill X unless they are already being targeted for night kill."
Unlimited Blade Works (Day power, One Shot, Noble Phantasm, costs 40 posts) - Once during the day, post the following chant in bold to immediately end the day without lynch, even if majority has been reached. When you do, pm me the names of as many targets as you wish and underline up to three of their names. You will take all of the players you choose to an alternate reality filled with nothing but weapons and giant floating gears for the night. Anyone you choose cannot target anyone you don't and vice versa. Additionally, the players you underlined will be roleblocked as you send every weapon at them in a hail of iron and steel.
"I am the bone of my sword.
Steel is my body and fire is my blood.
I have created over a thousand blades.
Unknown to death, nor known to life.
Have withstood pain to make many weapons.
Yet these hands will never hold anything.
So as I pray...OOOONRIMITED BLADE A-WURKS!"
You win when you win the holy grail war. An additional win condition will be added if Rin is best girl.
Your master is Rin Tohsaka, perfect tsundre. She's prepared for the war mentally but sympathizes too much with her enemies, emotionally. Still, you will protect her, as she saved your life when you were a master.
So the Archer Class is Made Up of Archers (Free) - Rin is a master of stating the obvious. You may choose one fact each night that you feel the town should know. Rin will appear in the writeup explaining this.
Info Dump (Day Power) - In the first eight hours of each day, you can ask a question about the entire player base like "How many roleblocking abilities are in the game?" or "Can anyone break rule number five?" The answers to your questions will appear in the day end writeup.
It's Not Like I Like You, Idiot! (Day Power) - Rin is a classic Tsundre type character. When a player quotes one of your posts, you may quote his post and say something in bold like "Just do want I say, dummy!" You will steal their vote for best girl.
Forming an Alliance (Active) - Diplomatic and strategic, Rin may target another master and offer terms to the player controlling them. Neither player may vote for the other or target each other with a hostile action until (an event of your choice). The player may accept or refuse your offer. As a free action, you may end your alliance early by posting to the thread in bold "*Master name,* our alliance is over. From now on, we are enemies."
The Tohsaka Jackhammer (Active) - Rin may target another master to jailkeep them. This action bypasses all protective abilities including busdrives and nexuses.
Strongest Gems (Active, One Shot) - Rin may target a servant and nightkill them with an explosive gem containing years of her magic energy. This will only work if Rin is given an opening because at least three other characters target the same servant. If there is no opening, the action will fail and can be attempted later.
Rin wins if you win the holy grail war. An additional win condition will be added if Rin is best girl.
You are Arturia Pendragon, King of Knights, aka Saber (Townish). As a girl, you pulled a sword from a stone, fulfilling the prophesy to become "king" of Britain. Your knights protected the realm until internal fighting left Camelot with too many enemies and not enough knights. You were summoned to serve Kiritsugu Emiya in the last Holy Grail War but fell in a battle against Archer. Now, you've returned to aid Kiritsugu's adopted son, Shirou.
Best if I Don't Tell You Who I Am (Passive) - Your new username is Servant Saber. Your password is ... Posted votes and night targets submitted with your normal account will be invalid. You must use your new account to vote, submit night action and gain posts to use your Noble Phantasm powers.
I Am Your Sword (Active) - Eager for battle, you can target another player to drag them into the writeup. After all, you are the series's main character so your battles get extra screen time. Your target will have a 25% chance to be roleblocked and you will learn a random letter is or is not part of your target's true identity.
Invisible Air (Noble Phantasm, Active, costs 15 posts) - Using wind magic, your sword does significantly more damage than any metal blade and cannot be seen so opponents are loathe to get close to you. Target another player to nightkill them. Your target will be unable to target you or Shirou.
Excalibur (Noble Phantasm, Active, costs 40 posts) - Unleashing the full power of your blade, you can fire a beam of light at your target, blocking and nightkilling them. This attack has a 75% chance of success against a servant whose true identity you do not know but it will take a lot out of you.
Training Shirou (Daypower) - Starting on Day 2, each day, you may post in bold "Time to train, Shirou!" and include a YouTube video to a training montage from a movie or TV show. If I approve of your video, Shirou will gain an ability.
Another Bad Ending?!? (Passive) - Seemingly having lost some of your edge since the prequel, you're not great at protecting Shirou. Your master has a 25% chance to avoid nightkill when at your location.
You win if you win the holy grail war. An additional win condition will be added if Saber is best girl.
Shirou Emiya is your master and he is dumb as bricks. On the other hand, he's the main character and is generally a sweet and selfless guy that only wants to stop evil masters and servants from hurting others.
Typical Improbable Harem (Passive) - Since Shirou is a sexy main character, female masters have a 75% chance to mason with you if their servants die and there are no other servants available.
You Lost Me (Passive) - Shirou tends to figure things out well after he should. At the end of each night phase, I will tell you something you should already know.
You Are My Sheath (Passive) - Shirou has a 50% chance to jump in front of a nightkill (except yours) aimed at anyone at his location and a 90% chance to jump in front of a nightkill aimed at best girl.
People Die When They Are Killed (Passive) - Shirou has six lives.
Alarm Field (Passive) - Shirou and Saber win all paradoxes while both are at home.
Shirou wins if the game has a happy ending where good triumphs over evil. An additional win condition will be added depending on who is best girl.
You are Heracles aka Berserker (Townish). In life, you murdered your wife in a magically induced fury and accomplished twelve impossible labors to atone. As a famous hero, you have more raw power than a normal servant. You've been further strengthened by your connection to a powerful master and as a berserker, you sacrifice clarity of thought for even greater abilities. All in all, you're really OP, an unstoppable mountain that shifts between stoicism and rage.
What is That Thing? (Passive) - Your new username is Servant Berserker. Your password is ... Posted votes and night targets submitted with your normal account will be invalid. You must use your new account to vote, submit night action and gain posts to use your Noble Phantasm powers.
Punisher of Cowards (Active) - Whenever a player or villain runs away, you manage to catch and kill them. On even nights, you may nightkill the player with the lowest post count for the day. If there is a tie for lowest poster, you may choose between tied players. If your kill succeeds, you will kill the player's master as well.
God Hand (Passive, Noble Phantasm, costs ??? posts) - You have twelve lives, one for each impossible labor you accomplished in life. Lynching you will not end the day phase but you will lose a life. You may be lynched or nightkilled even if the attacker or voters do not know your true identity. When nightkilled, you will lose a number of posts equal to one and a half times the post cost of the attack. If you are reduced to less than 0 posts, you will lose additional lives.
OP Mother ####er (Passive) - You have the best stats and are damn near invincible and have killer instincts to boot. You cannot be blocked or misdirected. Your vote cannot be stolen.
Defend the Loli (Passive) - Unlike some of the other servants, you both like your master and are damn good at protecting her. As long as you draw breath, hostile night actions targeting Illyasviel will be misdirected onto you instead. You may not go to a different location than Illya at night.
Berser-ka Barrage (Active) - Target a player at night to roleblock them. If they use a kill power, they will be misdirected to a random servant (including you but not them) at the same location instead of blocked.
You win when Illyasviel wins.
Your master is Illyasviel von Einzbern, one part sweet little girl, one part murderous sociopath. She was born to win the holy grail war and to become the holy grail itself. Her parents left her to compete in the previous war and save her from this fate. They never returned.
Let's Play, Oni-chan (Daypower) - Seemingly innocent, Illya can distract other masters. You may post in bold during the day "Hi *master name*. Come play with me." That master will not be allowed to use day powers for the rest of the day phase.
Game Over, Oni-chan (Active) - Illya actually has more raw power than most other masters. You may target another master to nightkill them. This power has a 10% chance to succeed plus 10% for every time Illya has targeted this master with any power. Doctored or roleblocked uses of this power don't count for this modifier.
Oh, No, You Can't Just Die (Daypower) - Illya can keep people alive in...clandestine ways. If a master dies at your location, you can pm me during the first 8 hours of the day. From now on, you can pm them, even though they are dead. They are not obligated to pm you back. If you use this ability on a new master, you won't be able to pm the first any longer.
Don't Need a Route (Passive) - "Because everyone already loves me." Illya ignores all "best girl" game mechanics.
Tiger Dojo (Daypower) - For every bad ending, Illya takes part in the Tiger Dojo, a hint corner for people who get themselves killed. If a character is killed, in the first 8 hours of the next day, you may send me some advice for how that player could have avoided death. Your advice will appear in the writeup and if I find it funny or insightful, I will take a random letter of the alphabet and tell you which servants have that letter in their true name.
Rejoice! You are Cu Chuliann aka Lancer (Townish). In life, you were a great hero of Irish legend and a demigod in your own right, cursed with a spear that brings only misery. You killed many villains and heroes including your own son and in the end, died on your feet against an army seeking revenge for those you defeated. Now, you've been brought back to compete in the grail war. Your master has already been killed in the opening writeup so now you belong to me, Kirei Kotomine. HAHAHAHHAHAHA!
Mystery Spearman (Passive) - Your new username is Servant Lancer. Your password is ... Posted votes and night targets submitted with your normal account will be invalid. You must use your new account to vote, submit night action and gain posts to use your Noble Phantasm powers.
Holding Back (Active, Passive) - As your master, I've forbidden you from trying to kill the other servants. Instead, I want you to learn about them. Target a player at night to force them to use their Noble Phantasm on you instead of using their normal action. You will receive the text of their power and if they don’t have enough posts to use it, their power will automatically fail. You may not use your Noble Phantasms until you have used this power on every living servant.
Gae Bolg (Active, Noble Phantasm, costs 15 posts) - Your spear reverses the concepts of cause and effect. That is, you stab your opponent because your spear has gone through his heart, not the other way around. This makes your attack damn hard to avoid. Target another player for a nightkill. This power hits 75% of the time instead of 10% of the time if you don't know your target's true name.
Gae-er Bolg (Active, Noble Phantasm, costs 25 posts) - When thrown, your spear cannot be blocked. Target another player to nightkill them. This attack ignores doctoring, roleblocking, and passive nightkill protection.
Lol Gay Bulge (Passive) - You've got a long, hard rod that you just can't wait to penetrate a certain handsome man with. No homo. Your vote counts triple against Archer.
Runes (Day Power) - You've got some magic skill. PM me a bolded post (not a vote) another player makes. I will tell you what the day power they are using does.
Lancebro (Active) - Though you seem like a bad guy, you're actually a stand up dude. You may doctor another player and also remove any negative status effects from them.
Battle Continuation (Day Power, One Shot) - You are famous for tying yourself to a tree to fight on when you could no longer stand. The day after you are killed or lynched, you may post in bold "You think that was enough to stop me? Take this *character name*, or should I say *secret identity*?" Only include the italicized part of targeting a servant. You will attempt to daykill that character and will return to the game. You will die at the end of the phase, return again the following day and then die for real at the end of that day.
You win if you win the holy grail war or if there is a happy ending and you killed at least one villain or saved at least one surviving good guy.
Your master is Kirei Kotomine aka Jackofhearts2005. Unlike other servants, you do not control your master or win automatically if your master achieves his win condition.
You are Medusa aka Rider (Scumish). In life, you and your sisters secluded yourselves on an island, cursed by a jealous god, until you were driven mad. Now, you've returned to protect Sakura, depressing love interest to the main character. Only Sakura doesn't want to fight so she's put her brother Shinji in charge of you. You play for all three characters.
Masked (Passive) - Your new username is Servant Rider. Your password is ... Posted votes and night targets submitted with your normal account will be invalid. You must use your new account to vote, submit night action and gain posts to use your Noble Phantasm powers.
Like a Spider (Active) - Silently clinging to walls and ceilings, you may reverse track a player at night.
Dagger Swing (Active) - A dagger on a chain isn't a match for a lance that never misses or a sword the size of a tree but it is great for killing fleeing mortals. Target a player to roleblock them. Against a servant, this power has a 50% chance to fail. Against a master, this power has a 50% chance to also kill.
Bellerophon's Bridle (Noble Phantasm, Active, costs 40 posts) - Riding on your son, Pegasus, and enraging him with this enchanted bridle, you can charge another player in a brilliant blast of white light and nightkill them. This attack will magnet the target and make you untargetable to all players but your target. If you use this attack on another servant, you will first draw them to a rooftop, making them untargetable to all players but you. You cannot use this ability while your bounded field is activated.
Blood Fort Andromeda (Noble Phantasm, Day Power) - You have the ability to create a deadly bounded field surrounding an area but it takes a few days to set up. During the day phase, you may post in bold and capitals “THREE”. On each subsequent day phase, you can post in bold and capitals a number up to one less than the number from the previous day. When you post ZERO, the game thread will close and be replaced with the Blood Fort Thread and the Outside Thread. All players other than Assassin who posted during that day will be trapped in the Blood Fort Thread and School location until you die or until you pm me to remove the bounded field. Trapped players (not including you) can be immediately lynched when votes are placed on them totaling majority minus 1 for each day they have been stuck in on the Blood Fort Thread, counting the first. Minimum lynch threshold is 1. Other players may post to the Outside Thread during the day but no lynch will occur there and they cannot go to the School location at night.
You win if you win the Holy Grail War.
Your master is Sakura Matou, sweet, busty girl with a dark secret. She's been spending most of her time at Shirou Emiya's house, cooking for him.
Just a Bruise (Passive) - Sakura is hiding her command seal and letting Shinji fight in the war in her place. As long as Rider and Shinji are alive and Sakura is not best girl, nobody can target Sakura at night. They will be told to target someone else.
Notice Me, Senpai (Active/Passive) - Sakura needs attention and is hopelessly in love with Shirou. Every night, you can target a player. If you target the same player Shirou targets or if you target Shirou and he chooses to target nobody, he will notice Sakura. *swoon* If Senpai notices Sakura, Sakura gets an extra vote to be best girl the next day. Anyone who says "Sakura" during the day will automatically vote for her to be best girl.
Fate Stay in the Kitchen (Day Power) - Whenever Sakura is around, there are long, boring, cooking scenes where you get every detail about every dish. During the day, post in bold "Skip ALL the cooking scenes!" to skip to the action and cut the phase length in half. Post in bold "Read ALL the cooking scenes!" to make the game drag on and double the length of the day phase.
Every Day Until You Like It (Day Power) - 4chan thinks it's funny when Sakura has a fish. Each day, you can target three HCRealms players. You will drag one of them (determined randomly) into the day writeup and give them a fish. If anyone expresses positive feelings about the dragging or if you don't use your power during the day, you lose this power permanently. You may not reveal this restriction while you still have this power.
Sakura wins if she is best girl and both she and Shirou survive until the end of the game.
Your other master is Shinji Matou, embodiment of the popular stuck up rich kid and the number one butt monkey of the Fate series. He wants to be a master but doesn't have the talent. He's either jealous of or wants to #### every other character in the game. Usually both.
No! This Isn't Fair! (Active) - This game was supposed to have more players and both Matou roles had to be changed significantly to work as one player. Target a player at night to punish them for Shinji's loss. They'll be given a post restriction.
All Talk (Passive) - His spellbook allows Shinji to create a weird claw shadow sawblade looking things but he's pretty much #### with them. Anyone targeting him will be asked "Are you sure? He's got weird claw shadow sawblade looking things protecting him." If they say yes, the claws won't actually protect Shinji but they might scare an attacker into choosing a different target.
Blackmail and Lies (One Shot, Daypower) - Shinji is great at managing to fool protagonists into fighting him "one on one" with Rider ready to attack. Target a master during the day and pm me a deal of your choosing to offer them. If they agree, they must keep their word and you are not allowed to keep yours. You don't have to offer something you actually have/can do.
Grandfather! (Passive) - Zouken Matou seems like a respectable old man and he won't have anyone attacking his family in his own home. Any Townish character targeting Shinji at the Matou Residence will fail.
Shinji wins if he wins the Holy Grail War or gets to #### Tohsaka. Yes, that is a real win condition. Don't hold your breath, though.
You are Medea aka Caster (Scumish). In life, you betrayed your country, killed your brother and stole a kingdom for the man you loved. In the end, your love choose another and you took your revenge by killing her and everyone else involved. Now, you've returned to battle in the Holy Grail War and have stacked the deck to your own advantage.
Who Knows Such Dark Magic? (Passive) - Your new username is Servant Caster. Your password is ... Posted votes and night targets submitted with your normal account will be invalid. You must use your new account to vote, submit night action and gain posts to use your Noble Phantasm powers.
Yo Dawg, We Heard You Like Servants (Passive) - You're a servant but also a mage. Why shouldn't you be a master, too? You've summoned Servant Assassin and anyone approaching Ryuudou Temple must go through him. Note there is no rule against pming other players. I wouldn't trust him with your identity but you can certainly win together.
Rulebreaker (Noble Phantasm, Active, costs 30 posts) - Using a paralyzation spell trap and your dagger that destroys all bonds, you can end the contract of a servant and their master. Target two players and name the true identity of the first player if they are a servant. If the first targets the second with an offensive action, they will be roleblocked and you will nightkill them (if they are a master) or recruit them to your side (if they are a servant).
Dragon Teeth Golems (Passive) - Whenever you leave Ryuudou Temple, for every 10 posts you have, you will create a skeletal monster just like in the 1960s Jason and the Argonauts movie. These monsters will divide themselves equally among all other characters at your location and attempt to roleblock them. Each has a 10% chance to roleblock a servant or a 25% chance to roleblock a master.
"Gas Leaks" (Active) - You've been using your magic to drain the lifeforce from innocent people, putting them in comas. Target an HCRealms account. If they are not in the game, you gain 10 posts.
Illusions (Active) - Target two players to busdrive them. If both targets are at the same location, this power always succeeds. You can force a player to target himself and you may target yourself with this ability. Your master ignores this power.
Would you Kindly? (Active) - Every innocent bystander can be a weapon for your cause through hypnosis. Target an HCRealms account that is not in the game or in a coma. For the rest of the game, if that player is lynched, the master of the first player voting for them will be daykilled.
You win if you win the Holy Grail War or if there are only four or less servants left and all of you vote for "Let Caster win."
Your master was a fool so you killed him with Rulebreaker and took a new one, Souichirou Kuzuki. Souichirou is a cold but respected teacher who is secretly a trained killer. He loves you unconditionally and has agreed to marry you.
Shouldn't You be in Class? (Passive) - Kuzuki reflects all daypowers used on him or Caster back to the user. This ability is ignored by Noble Phantasms.
Lol Hax (Active) - Between his unique fighting skills and your strengthening enchantments, Kuzuki is a match for most Servants...until they learn his style. Target a player while at the same location as you to nightkill them. This power will fail against anyone who was at the same location where it was used before.
Willing Slave (Passive) - As a devoted bodyguard, Kuzuki will attempt to protect Caster from nightkill. He has a 50% chance to take a hit for Caster, a 25% chance to doctor Caster and a 25% chance to die with her.
"Mana Transfer" (Active) - When two people love each other very much.... Target Caster to add 10 posts to her post count. Yes, this is a real game mechanic.
Kuzuki wins if you win so there is no additional path to victory for you.
You are an unnamed swordsman who most closely resembles the legend of samurai Kojirou Sasaki but it is easier to simply call you Assassin (Scumish). In life, you did nothing but practice with your sword until you could perform impossible techniques. Now, you've been brought back by Caster. She's perverted the rules of the Holy Grail War to make you a servant of a servant, trapped guarding the entrance to Ryuudou Temple, awaiting a chance to test so called true heroes.
Unnamed (Passive) - Your new username is Servant Assassin. Your password is ... Posted votes and night targets submitted with your normal account will be invalid. You must use your new account to vote, submit night action and gain posts to use your Noble Phantasm powers.
Caster's Wraith (Passive) - Servant Caster is on your side. Note there is no rule against pming other players. I wouldn't trust her with your identity but you can certainly win together.
Temple Guard (Passive) - You are bound to the entrance steps of Ryuudou Temple. Your active night actions will fail against any target not at the Temple and you may not go to any other location. Players targeting Caster at Ryuudou Temple will have to go through you first.
Only Your Wits (Passive) - What you lack in speed and power, you make up for in cunning. Your powers will never fail because you don't know a servant's true name.
Swallow Reversal (Noble Phantasm, Active, costs 20 posts) - To strike a swallow with a blade, you must strike three times in one instant to create an inescapable net of metal. However, to perform this technique, you must be on the same elevation as your target and a very specific distance apart. Target another servant whose total posts on the game thread are equal to yours to nightkill them. You cannot target Caster with this power.
Learn Everything From a Few Swings (Active) - Target a servant at night. You will learn one random letter to their true identity and one bonus or restriction on one of their powers.
You win when you have killed two other servants or when you and Caster are the only remaining servants.
Hidden stuff/Game notes
Though I didn't realize how worthless the location mechanic was (random throwaway nights and stalling encouragement) and how overpowered lynching was compared to nightkills, I did realize that the game would start a little slow and I was fine with this.
With that in mind, the best girl mechanics and high number of day powers were primarily to give players something to talk about. Nobody ever discussed anyone else's day powers and other than Archer trying to make deals to get votes, nobody really discussed the best girl mechanics, preferring to vote only.
There was no rule against pming other players (or people not in the game). This was intended to give a leg up to more observant players and promote teamwork between selfish players against others, particularly Berserker (if he was killing), Caster (if she was recruiting) or Rider (if Blood Fort was activated). Doesn't look like that happened.
Saber/Shirou
Shirou gained magnet abilities, power copping and passive protection from training. He'd need to save whoever was best girl to win. If Saber was best girl, she'd win with a happy ending for the town and would gain Avalon, a one shot bulletproof and kill PGO that covered both her and Shirou.
Her investigative power was too weak. Shirou's heroicness was supposed to encourage team Saber to team up to eliminate the villains but that didn't happen.
Archer/Rin
If Rin was best girl, she'd mason with Shirou and would win with a happy town ending. After a few days, Archer would separate from Rin (now part of Team Saber) and become a free killing player who needed to eliminate Shirou. If Archer died, he'd take control of Rin again.
Rin's possible win condition switch and alliance power were intended to give the player some stake in lynches despite starting with a selfish win condition. The writeup would also give team Archer a horse in the race, particularly if Sakura went rogue.
Berserker/Illya
No hidden info. Should have made Berserker's kill work every night.
Berserker was intended to worry players into action by being an unstoppable killing machine but he never managed to make a kill or be at the right location to make a kill attempt. Freddy mechanics fail when the Freddy isn't playing. He did try to have Illya kill Kotomine, which I should have put in the writeup. His secret identity didn't matter so that was intended to let him be a mouthpiece and spur discussion but it didn't happen.
Lancer/Kotomine
Lancer had the mod on his side. I would determine tie breaker votes (saving Bob from lynch once) in Lancer's favor and then in the favor of players who were participating more. Kotomine (and I) only wanted an interesting game, after all.
Lancer's win conditions were intended to give him motivation to eliminate some players and target others at night. It was also to skew things towards the good guys and away from the bad.
Kotomine would kill any female master that lost their servant and didn't mason with Shirou. After two players had died, Gilgamesh would appear and kill a third based on lowest post count but would only succeed if Lancer had learned that player's Noble Phantasm (or if he made the 10% roll). Gilgamesh would need to be lynched as Jackofhearts. He would attempt more kills every so often and would have had his own account. Gilgamesh came in early out of my frustration.
If Kotomine was voted best girl three times, Sakura would be best girl. Kotomine would skew votes towards the good guys if Sakura was best girl, the bad guys if Saber was best girl and nobody if Rin was best girl.
Caster/Kuzuki
They couldn't screw except at Ryuudou temple.
Caster was given lots of protection, a huge post count production advantage and (if Assassin had participated) twice the day votes. Like Berserker, this was intended to make her look threatening and make other players want to team up against her. Though Darkstone participated, the skew of voting being way more powerful than night action prevented her from being perceived as any more dangerous than anyone else.
Assassin
This role was specifically given to JP because I knew nobody would guess his id. His ability to kill or be killed without id knowledge was intended to prevent stagnation. He was another Freddy, as anyone with a low post count would be an easier target. Still, the location mechanic neutered him in theory and execution. A barely participating player would not likely come to him and he didn't participate anyhow.
If Sakura was best girl, he'd be immediately killed and replaced with True Assassin (new avatar, same account), which is why Caster and Assassin were encouraged to not share their ids. True Assassin would have misdirection abilities, a master killing power for his "Darks," immunity to some of Saber's and Sakura's killing powers and a heart grab noble Phantasm kill that would let him guess twice at a player's id and succeed if either was correct. He'd gain Zoken as a master, who had similar powers to Illya and Shinji in terms of nightkilling masters, giving post restrictions and resurrecting the dead.
Rider/Sakura/Shinji
Shinji couldn't ever #### anyone. He's got no game. Shinji would always follow Rider to wherever she was going if she was taking offensive action because Shinji loves violence. Failing to meet Shinji's post restrictions would give a different penalty based on the situation, only ever taking a life from Berserker.
If Shinji was killed before Rider, Rider would win with the town. If Rider was killed before Shinji, Sakura would leave the game and Shinji would mason with Gilgamesh.
If Sakura was best girl, she'd mason with Shirou and win if there was a good ending. She'd also gain a power called Wishful Thinking that would allow her to tell me her favorite and least favorite players remaining and give bonuses and restrictions to them, respectively. This power would actually attempt to nightkill the least favorite with a ~50% chance of success. The writeups would point to Sakura as responsible, leading to an "us vs them" showdown with any surviving players that didn't trust the Shirou/Sakura pairing with the new True Assassin role as a wildcard.
Though Rider's powers and win conditions were all over the place, she was meant to play the role normally filled by the serial killer. A standard serial killer speeds up and balances the game by killing members of the winning faction. Sakura could literally speed up phases, Rider could make lynches almost instantaneous and kill masters and surviving members of team Rider would generally join one faction or the other, moving from neutral to invested. These speedy day powers were never used (so as not to draw attention?) and the game didn't progress far enough for the rest of the hidden mechanics to come into play.
Awesome roles, as expected. Pity it didn't really work out - I think all this game really needed was some kind of incentive to post (well, and active players). First game we had to figure out the whole tentacle monster thing, which made us talk.

Also:
Which comes back to the day/night imbalance and lack of participation. Berserker, Rider and Caster were all supposed to seem threatening but because they either didn't use their powers or their powers were far less dangerous than they should have been, nobody was worried about them the way they were worried about the tentacle monster.
Plus, said imbalance meant players were encouraged not to talk, which snowballed as posts not made didn't illicit reactions from others and so on.
In hindsight, the whole best girl thing didn't lead to much discussion because really weighing in on what route would be best would basically read as "I am Darkstone/Bob/Rokk/Truffle."
