I love the Holiday Elf! I just got one from my judge who put him out as a weekly tournament prize, and was surprised to learn he's not a generic, though...

Zatarra is my "hidden gem" of 2016.

I pulled him in WF Prerelase and he was such a beast. I then played him a few times on Mystics team.

I have only played him on his support side. All you need to do is add a 20pt Witch.
Witch adds +1 to attack and +1 to range damage with enhancement.
Use Zatara's perplex to increase damage one more.

Starting click becomes 11 attack, 4 damage with probability control.

Start him on the Attacking version and he is 12 attack, 4 damage, psychic blast, and Running shot.

Only tried the Suicide Click once and missed my roll to blast 3 opposing players. Laughed all the way to a loss.

My favorite Mystical has to be this figure. I've played him a ton, and he has never let me down.

My favorite mystical figures are:

1. stealth busting when there wasn't alot of it floating around.

2. can't go wrong with PC control.

3. one heck of a punch for 73 pts. squishy but fun and can definitely earn her points.

Jeremiah, I know you would have figured this out in the long run, but before you get all excited about the Empower on your Dreadnoughts and playing them with the Bat-Knight, keep in mind that you can only modify Bat-Knight's stats with characters that have the KC team ability.

Also, I thought Jack Frost seemed pretty tame for a guy that has that much hype around him. Didn't think he was worth his points either...then I played mine and started realizing how CRAZY GOOD he is. Not necessarily Meta-worthy, but you can break him if you try. He is pretty abusable, and most importantly, FUN.

I had fun using Spider-Man Noir and prime Kraven on my last Mystical team. Noir provides a decent range attacker and some Outwit. I'm looking forward to trying Old Man Spider.

Woefully, I have not tried any of the new Spider-Man chases (Or most of the SR's for that matter). The ONE that I did try was Cyborg Spider-Man at 100 points. I had THREE of them at one time. I played all three together in a 300 point team. B R U T A L ! ! ! ! !
