Scoring Points from my own Boxing Ring, 3D Object?
DP17-008 Boxing Ring (5 points)

SCORING: Special Terrain is scored when a player is defeated, whether it was placed or not.
If I played a Boxing Ring in my force, and and I win the game. Do I score points from my own Boxing Ring?

[C]If a character equipped with an item is KO'd, the equipped item is KO'd and scored for your opponent if appropriate.
If I played a 3D Object in my force, and my opponent equips my own 3D object during the game. Than I KO'd this object, and I win the game. Do I score points from my own 3D Object?
I'll point out that they are experimenting with a new scoring system at GenCon. I'm not sure how an element like the ring will work under that scenario.
If you didn't see it, right now it looks like this.
Each game scores points so that you get all of the points that you earn (capped at 300) + half of the points you have remaining.
If we both play 300 point teams and you defeat 250 points of my team, and I get 150 of yours, then our match points will be 325 for you and 175 for me.
Those scores get compared with the scores of everyone else who played that round, and you get tournament points based on your percentile.
The top 33% get 3 TPs. The middle 33% get 2 TPs. The bottom 33% get 1 TP. You get one additional TP if you won the game.
I would assume that the ring would count among your remaining points, but I could be wrong.
You cannot equip items that are not friendly to your force
Why can't you equip opposing objects? I have only seen this ruling below, which I assume was written for mainly mind controlled opposing characters (turning into friendly for the mind control action duration).

[C]You may not equip friendly items to characters that began the game on an opponent’s force. If an equipped opposing character becomes friendly to your force, you may not use the EFFECT of any game elements equipped to them.
These two characters can steal and use opposing character equip items. I know that game effects can overwrite the rules, but I am looking for a more clear answer.

PREPARING FOR WAR: When Captain America hits an equipped character, if the equipped item was originally an object, he may choose to deal no damage and instead place the item on his character card. At the beginning of your turn, you may choose one item on Captain America's character card placed via this trait. If you do, place an item previously equipped by this trait back on his card and then equip the chosen item.

I'LL JUST TAKE THAT, THANKS: When Black Cat hits with an attack, you may choose that it deals no damage. If you do, you may choose an item equipped to that character that was an object and equip it to Black Cat.

Because of that ruling. That's it.
The characters you quoted are exceptions to the rule you quoted.
It's that simple.
