They are not unique

I like that she's the upgrade for AOU Thor's bystander. Starting stats are the same, still got a source of willpower and support, but just does it all better.

You don't pay points mid game, so yes it's "free."

How do you score the points in a multi player game when you roll to bring in Thor?

So you score by replacement scoring! It is on Page 32-33 of your New Rule Book.

Let's say you roll to bring in Lady Thor. If Lady Thor is KO'd you either score Jane or Lady Thor, whichever is higher. Obviously the higher would be Lady Thor. If you roll and bring in Lady Thor and Lady Thor IS NOT KO'd then your opponent scores no points.
